CHAPTER - 3

AVINASH POV

I am just hella irritated with everything around me. I was used to be a person who hated alcohol and cigarette but now look at me. I am addicted to them they have become the cure of the pain and stress in my life. Even in my college time and teen years where people usually get distracted I didn't touch alcohol and cigarette but now? I am a complete mess. She also didn't like boys who smoke and drink but now her like and dislikes don't matter to me. She doesn't matter to me anymore. I don't give a fuck what she likes, dislikes, where is she now? I don't care.

Thinking all of these I abruptly stopped the car in front of my mansion and I stepped out of the car. I entered inside my house trying my best to not make a sound and crossing fingers in hope that no one is awake or I would get a long lecture now also like I got in morning when I informed them that I am leaving for office. I said I will be back in 1 hour but see it took me so long that it's freaking mid night. I know I have to get a lecture no matter what but I am not ready to listen it right now.

Thankfully without getting noticed by anyone I entered my room and threw myself on the bed being tired as hell. After heaving a tired sigh I again got up removing my shoes and socks. My coat was long time ago removed and undoing my shirt buttons and I went to the bathroom to take a cold shower before getting to sleep or getting back to work maybe depends on my mood.

Coming out of the bathroom wearing my sweatpants without any shirt I sat on the bed with a pillow on my lap and a laptop on top of it. I have studied that placing laptop on your lap directly decreases fertility. It's not that I care about it. I don't want to get interested in any love type of relationships again in my life but still I use a pillow.

Working for some more hours I laid down on my bed around 4 am and I know the morning won't be so pleasant. Even I have work tomorrow too and mom will not let me go. Let's see what will happen.

" Avinash you are already up? " Mom said as she watched me walking out of the bathroom dressed in a three piece suit.

" Yes mom "

" Ok get down for breakfast "
She ordered and I nodded before she leaves the room.

Strange... She didn't scold me? Something is fishy . Anyways.. Let's go down and see.

" Avinash when did you come yesterday?" Dadima asked.

I knew this was coming.

" Umm... Around 11 pm "

Yeah it's a lie I came around 12 am.

" Ok " She said before digging in the food.

Something is off. How can they not scold me for this? With this thought I finished my breakfast and was about to get up when Dadi ma again called me.
