Chapter 1: Moving

Third person

"Kuni! Have you packed all of your stuff to move out yet?" Ei yelled out to her son "Miko will be here soon to pick us up so we can move in with her and Aunt Nahida!!!" Scaramouche sighed and got up from his bed to start packing. "No, I haven't Mom! You didn't even tell me when I should start to fucking pack!!" "Language, Kunikuzushi!" Ei took a deep breath in as she knew that Scaramouche didn't want to move in with Miko, but she had been married with her for almost a year now. Scaramouche, or Kunikuzushi, and his mother, Ei, had been living in an apartment for over 5 years. It was time for them to move in with Miko, Ei's wife, and Nahida, Scaramouche's Aunt, into a much larger house for a better living and better education for Scaramouche. He was going back to school in about a week.

Ei was very wealthy, however she wasn't sure how to spend her money due to loosing her family while she was young. She was 13 when she lost her parents and 15 when she lost her sister. She fell in love with a man around the age of 23, but then he got her pregnant with Scaramouche and his sister, Raiden, then ran away. Fortunately, Scaramouche had inherited many things from his mother, such as her face shape, eyes, hair, and nose. Raiden looked like a direct copy of Ei, except for the fact that she had darker blue eyes. Ei decided to marry Miko because she was honest, helpful, and able to teach her how to spend money.

I am just yapping at this point...

After about 2 hours.

"I got all of my stuff in my suitcase." Scaramouche said kinda angrily as he was carrying 1 large suitcase full of everything that was his from the apartment. "Oh Kuni! How's my pretty boy?" Miko ran up to Scaramouche, bent down to be eye level to him, and squished his cheeks. "I'm not your stupid 'pretty boy', Miko" Scaramouche rolled his eyes and pushed Miko's hands off his face. (Seriously, when will she stop being so close to me all the time...) Miko chuckled, "Could you at least call me 'Mom?' I am your mother after all." "Kuni be nice to your mother." Ei sighed as she looked at Scaramouche. (I know he doesn't like Miko but he's always rude towards her.) "Yeah, yeah whatever..." The short indigo haired boy sighed. A white and brown cat ran from Scaramouche's room and jumped on the suitcase. "Oh, hello there, Mocha." Miko smiled as she tried to pet the cat. (Mocha's so adorable especially when he's with Kuni.) Mocha purred, showing satisfaction with the affection given to him from Miko. Scaramouche picked him up and started to carefully stroke his back. Miko smiled as she looked at them, then grabbed their suitcases. "Come on, let's go before it gets dark."

After they loaded the suitcases into the car, they sat down inside and were greeted by Nahida is the front passenger seat. "Hey, Kuni and Ei. Do you wanna sit in the front next to Miko?" Nahida asked Ei. "Sure." Ei got up from her seat and swapped with Nahida. "How are you Kuni?" Asked the small, pale aunt of Scara's. (He's grown so much, I haven't seen him in a couple of years.) "I'm fine" Scara sighed. (Well, since it's going to be a 2 hour ride, I'm gonna listen to some music while I sleep.) Scaramouche went on his phone and played some Spotify. He leaned his head on the window while closing his eyes in hopes of falling asleep with Mocha on his lap.

After about 2 and a half hours

"Kuni... Kuni..." (It seems like he has fallen asleep) Ei thought. "Miko can you please wake him up for me while I move in our stuff?" "Of course, Nahida can help you" Miko got out of the car and brought suitcases out for Ei. "Kuni, honey, we're here..." "Ugh... get away from me... you old hag..." Scaramouche yawned as he got out of the car holding Mocha in his arms. He walked up to Ei and to grab his suitcase. "Kuni! You need to be more polite to your mother!" Ei frowned. "Ok, fine!" Scaramouche rolled his eyes. "Kuni, follow me I'll show you where your room is." Nahida held his hand and dragged him inside side the house, into his new room. Scaramouche's eyes widened as he saw the spacious room with dark blue walls, a large bed, and a TV. (Wow... I haven't seen such a nice, spacious room before.) Nahida smiled as she looked at his face. "This is your room! You should unpack your stuff. Dinner will be ready in an hour."

1 hour later

Scaramouche came down to find Ei on the couch watching a movie and Miko making dinner. "Oh, Kuni! Dinner is almost ready. You can sit down next to Ei while you wait." Miko smiled. "Alright." Scaramouche sat down next to Ei and started to scroll on his phone. "So, how do you like it here so far?" Ei asked. "It's alright I guess, my room is nice and Mocha likes it too." Scaramouche said. "It's good to know that you like the house!" Nahida smiled happily. "Food's ready to eat." Miko took off her apron and walked over to the couch to let them know. "Be careful it's hot, don't burn yourself." "Thank you for making food, Miko" Ei smiled. Scaramouche stared at the food for a bit then took a bite. (I swear if this is poison, I'm not gonna give her mercy...) "Oh, this isn't as bad as I thought..." He said as he went in for another bite. "Hey! Did you think it was gonna taste as bad as Ei's cooking?!" Miko frowned. "My food isn't that bad!" Ei glared. "You literally almost burned down the apartment yesterday..." Scaramouche side eyed Ei. "We don't talk about that!" Ei angrily said.

After dinner

Scaramouche went upstairs to his room and finished unpacking. Mocha jumped on his bed and laid down asking for belly rubs. Scaramouche sat down on his bed and started rubbing Mocha's stomach as he purred. "I need to finish unpacking, ok?" Mocha meowed in response to Scaramouche. After he finished unpacking, Scaramouche went into the bathroom to take a shower then went into bed. Mocha walked over next to Scaramouche and laid down again. Scaramouche chuckled as he started to stroke Mocha's back. Scaramouche looked at his phone to text his group chat.

Wow, 1219 words, that's a lot, I didn't really know what to write for the first chapter so I made it about Scaramouche. Next chapter I'll probably make it about Kazuha or about their first day and their meeting, or just something like that. I was mostly just rambling on about random shit for half the chapter, sorry. Idk if the information I have was helpful or not. Anyways, how did you guys like the first chapter?
