Third person
Scaramouche got home from the park. Miko saw him from the window and ran to open the door. "Kuni!" Miko smiled, "Ei and Nahida aren't here right now but they'll be back soon with a surprise!" Scaramouche sighed, "It's probably something shitty right?" He asked. "Well, I think you're gonna regret calling the surprise shitty, but trust me once, please!" Miko said with excitement. "Yeah right, you old hag." Scaramouche rolled his eyes and took off his shoes. (They really left me with her?) He went upstairs to his room with his backpack to start his homework. Scaramouche glanced at Mocha and noticed him staring outside the window. He stared at Mocha for a bit, then walked up to the large balcony doors and opened them. There was a small, rectangular table in the middle and an L-shaped couch. Mocha jumped onto the table and sat there, now staring at Scaramouche. "You like the weather out here?" He chuckled, "you're right, it's nice." He took a deep breath in and sat on the couch. "When am I going to see Raiden?" Scaramouche zoned out, staring at the driveway.
Scaramouche hadn't seen Raiden for a few years now. She went to a different school for 9th and 10th grade to take advanced courses and some one-time tests. Ei wanted her to become more independent and make her own decisions. Ei didn't send Scaramouche away because, from her point of view, he was already maturing faster than Raiden. Scaramouche and Raiden had a good relationship. They would tease each other, share secrets, cover each other's mistakes, and sometimes be up to mischief. Scaramouche loved Raiden because she was understanding and they would do the craziest things. Ei didn't want Raiden to be a mischievous kid, so she let her live on her own in hopes of letting her become mature. When Raiden found out about this, she was devastated, so she promised Scaramouche something: When she comes back, they would skip a day of school and spend the whole day having fun. And Scaramouche had been waiting for this day for 2 whole years.
After about half an hour
Scaramouche saw Ei's car driving up to the driveway, "What stupid surprise are they bringing?" Mocha looked at the driveway then ran through the balcony doors and waited for Scaramouche. "What?" He crossed his arms, "It's probably something shitty." Mocha stared at Scaramouche until he got up, came inside, and shut the balcony doors. Mocha ran out the room and down the stairs leaving Scaramouche alone in his room. (Does Mocha know what the surprise is? I seldom see him excited, what is the surprise?) Scaramouche came down the stairs and sat on the couch next to Mocha. Miko came into the living room and asked, "Are they here yet? It's been about 30 minutes now." The door opened revealing Ei, Nahida, and a bunch of luggage. "Kuni, look who's here!" Nahida said, elated. "Whose suitcases are those?" Scaramouche sighed. "Mine!" A familiar voice said, "Did you forget about me Kuni?" Scaramouche stood there shocked, "Raiden... How the fuck did you get as tall as mom?" Raiden burst out laughing, "So that's how you greet your sister? You haven't changed a bit!" Raiden kicked the luggage inside the house then ran up to Scaramouche.
"It took you 2 fucking years to come home." Scaramouche crossed his arms. "It's not my fault that Mom sent me away!" Raiden glared at him. She picked up Mocha and sat down, "Nobody told me that we got a cat!" Scaramouche chuckled and said, "His name is Mocha." "Mom, you know Mocha is a female name right?" Raiden looked towards Ei. "Umm... Well... Cats are meant to have cute names." Ei looked away and asked Miko, "Can I help make foo-" "NO!" Everyone shouted. "But it doesn't taste that-" Ei was cut off again by Raiden. "Mom, you're going to burn the house down!" She yelled, "I haven't seen you for 2 years but I know that we can't trust you to make food." Ei glared at her daughter then disappeared up the stairs. Raiden muttered, "She still thinks that she can cook." Raiden turned towards Scaramouche, "So, how's the school? Meet anyone I can be friends with?" "The school is shit and no." Scaramouche crossed his arms. "Lemme guess, someone's pissing you off." Raiden stroked Mocha's back as he purred. "Well, you aren't wrong." Nahida sat down on the couch.
"Who?" Raiden asked with excitement, "What do they look like?" "Albino hair with a red streak, a bit taller than me, red eyes, and-" Raiden cut Scaramouche off. "You were looking at his eyes?!" Raiden gasped, "Does Kuni have a love interest?" "That's what I've been saying!" Miko sat down on the couch. "Come on Kuni! Don't deny it!" Nahida said. "I already said no!" Scaramouche growled, "And his eyes were noticeable because he keeps on staring at me." "Don't use excuses." Raiden crossed her arms. Scaramouche picked up Mocha and gave him rubs. (When are they gonna believe that I hate that bitch?) "I'm fucking serious! I don't like that motherfucker!" Scaramouche hissed. "Fine, fine if you say so," Raiden sighed, "but you are going to introduce me to him tomorrow!" Scaramouche rolled his eyes and used his finger to flick Raiden's head. "Oww!" Raiden glared at Scaramouche as he ran, "Come back here!" She yelled as she was chasing him. "Nope!" Scaramouche stuck his tongue out at her and continued running.
After a few minutes
Scaramouche laid down on his bed and got out his phone. Raiden sat down and asked, "Why is that wall empty?" "Nahida told me that she was gonna put a surprise there." Scaramouche sighed. "Apart from that wall, your room fits your personality." Raiden said, "Oh, and by the way, have you gotten along with your friends, the Harbingers?" "Yeah, why?" Scaramouche got up and asked. "Just curious." Raiden stared at the doorway. (I was worried that he would grow away from me and his friends while I was gone, but I guess not.) "What's on your mind?" Scaramouche sat down next to her. "I haven't seen you in 2 years, I was worried you'll change." Raiden continued to stare. Scaramouche blinked and smacked Raiden's head, "Are you fucking crazy? If anything you're the one that changed!" Raiden turned her head to face Scaramouche and raised her hand, "Do you wanna get slapped in the face?" "Meh," Scaramouche shrugged, "It's not like you're actually gonna do it." "You know me too well." Raiden rolled her eyes.
After 2 hours
Ei knocked on Scaramouche's room door. "Come in." Scaramouche responded. Ei entered the room to see Raiden and Scaramouche gaming on his PC. "I guess I failed to get Raiden to be more mature?" Ei leaned on the door frame. "More like you failed to understand that we have a different type of maturity." Raiden said as she turned around on the chair. "Well, I guess that's one way to put it." Scaramouche turned his chair around too. "Miko wouldn't let me into the kitchen," Ei sighed, "until now when it's dinner time..." "I agree, you're terrible at cooking." Scaramouche slouched in his chair. Ei glared at Scaramouche and walked out the room, "Don't forget to eat!" "Kuni's not wrong!" Raiden shouted. Scaramouche chuckled, "Are we skipping school tomorrow or..?" "I wish, but I need you to show me around the school." Raiden continued, "You also need to take me to the principal's office, so I can get my schedule and shit." "Right, I gotta help you with that." Scaramouche crossed his arms.

I think I made Raiden and Scaramouche seem like they're dating ngl, I didn't mean to. I was just describing my relationship with my brother, so it kinda sounded cringe. 😭Sorry for making it all about Scaramouche. If you ask me, I might've made it too similar to the first chapter. I'll try to make the next one mainly about Kazuha if I can. I was barely able to make this chapter in 3 weeks because I kinda got busy with my studies. I'm sorry for making you guys wait awhile. I might edit all the chapters at the end of the story because it sounds a bit cringe rn. Was this chapter good? Is there something I should change?
