Chapter 7: Roof

Third person

Kazuha turned off his phone and replied to Mrs. Jean "Yes ma'am?" "Pay attention during class, otherwise you will need to hand in your phone and you will have detention." Mrs. Jean sternly said. "I understand ma'am." Kazuha sighed. (I don't want detention for the first week of school, but English is so boring, it's the same thing every year. I wish Scara was here so I could at least talk to him... But I don't like him!... And he would probably be annoyed anyways. I really want to skip math after this class ends. I saw him hanging out with the Harbingers earlier, I could ask them. But they could be skipping too... They always skip, so Scara is probably also skipping. Also now that I think of it, whenever I am near Scara, he seems to be thinking about something. I'll ask him next time I see him.)

Lunch time

(Scara wasn't in 2nd period either, maybe I'll see him in 7th. I'll ask my friends if they saw him in their classes or not.) Kazuha ran into the lunch room and found Aether sitting at a table. "Kazuha, you aren't late!" Aether said. "Where are the others?" Kazuha tilted his head. "They should be here soon." Aether smiled, "Also, did you get in trouble?" "A little, Mrs. Jean wasn't too happy that I was using my phone during class..." Kazuha sighed. "Hey!" Venti yelled. Venti, Heizou, and Xiao walked over the table and sat down. "So, Kazuha, how's it going with your bf?~" Heizou snickered. "I don't like him! And he's not my boyfriend!" Kazuha frowned "Also, did you see him in any of your classes?" "No, he's not in any of my classes." Heizou responded. "He wasn't in my 4th period." Aether ate his food. "Wasn't in my 3rd period, Xiao?" Venti asked. "Didn't see him." Xiao slouched in his seat. "Oh... I was gonna ask him something." Kazuha shrugged. "Were you gonna ask him out!?" Venti jumped from his seat. "What?! No!" Kazuha yelled. "Aww..." Venti sat back down.

"Kazuha, why don't you check during free period?" Heizou asked, "Many kids who skip class normally hangout on the roof." "Didn't you guys tell me to stay away from him?" Kazuha crossed his arms. "Yes, but you aren't gonna listen so might as well push you to confess to him." Venti giggled. "That's not a bad idea, Venti." Aether chuckled. "But I don't like him!" Kazuha's face was tinted pink. "Then why is your face pink?" Heizou pointed out. "I... Umm..." Kazuha nervously smiled. "Do we have to put you in a lying class or something?" Aether joked, "You are so bad at lying." "Well... I can't leave class during free period!" Kazuha quickly changed the subject. (One thing I can do is change subjects fast. It makes it easier to get away from conversations and things that I don't want to talk about.) "You can't? Mr. Zhongli let's us leave." Heizou started thinking. "Your other option would be after school, but he will be gone by then..." Venti said.

On the rooftop

(What does Miko mean by Kazuha might have a crush on me? Why would that idiot like me? I'm just someone with a bad temper and rude personality... And he's a patient motherfucker with a kind personality... He's literally a goody two shoes or whatever the fuck it's called.) Scaramouche sighed as he grabbed a cigarette from his pocket and lit it. He puffed out the smoke and stared at the sky. (Kazuha reminds me of Niwa but he seems a little different... He acts like he wants to know everything about me and it's almost like he's stalking me... His features make him look gay yet so many girls in the school wanna date him. Seriously, this school has so many fucking problems...) Scaramouche laid down on the roof and closed his eyes. (I could really use a nap.) Scaramouche closed his eyes as he started to relax and fall asleep.

Stuff after this might be a little strange... My friend was helping me and it was rushed in a day.

After school

Kazuha packed his bag and walked out of class to the front of the school, Aether followed. "Where is Xiao, Venti and Heizou?" Aether asked. "Good question, they would normally be here around now." Kazuha stopped to look around the front "I don't see them here..." "They wouldn't leave without us, but where are they..?" Aether sounded concerned. (Did something happen? Are they ok? What about Heizou?) Kazuha saw Aether's face start to get sweaty. "You haven't panicked in awhile, do you think something is wrong? I think Heizou and the others should be fine though..." Kazuha started to think. (What might have happened...) They heard some screaming. "What was that?!" Aether and Kazuha gasped. A screaming noise came from the school followed by the sound of someone laughing. "Should we be nervous...?" Aether shivered. Kazuha and Aether slowly walked back to the school cautiously.

Scaramouche woke up hearing a scream. (What are those idiots up to? Are they finally causing enough trouble to traumatize someone? I would just keep sleeping but I hear Dottore laughing like a maniac, I need to see this.) Scaramouche smirked as he got up and ran to the school. He shoved away the large group of people surrounding the scene. He saw Dottore laughing at a short girl with green hair crying on the floor. "Honestly, I thought you had murdered someone..." Scaramouche sounded disappointed. Everyone's head turned to see him. "It's that boy again..." "He looks like he wanted that girl to die." "He looks more dangerous than some of the other Harbingers." Everyone started to gossip about Scaramouche again causing him to hiss. "What the fuck do you want?! I can bring a gun tomorrow and shoot all of you!" Scaramouche's eyes were darkening causing some people to shut their mouths in terror. "Well... You can't bring a gun to school!" A boy with dark blue hair and a streak of lighter blue shouted in laughter. Scaramouche looked to see who it was.

My best friend wanted me to put Kaeya in the story... But seriously there is no way that she is not a Kaeya simp... Please, someone give her therapy...

Scaramouche shoved through the large group of people and stood in front of the boy. (He's more than half a foot taller than me. Oh well I'm used to it.) "So... What's your name?" He crossed his arms. "You want introductions? Didn't expect that from you. Well I'm Kaeya-" Kaeya passed out after Scaramouche kicked his face. Everyone went silent after seeing Scaramouche knock out Kaeya. Scaramouche walked back to the main scene until he bumped into someone. "Scara! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to!" Kazuha apologized for bumping into Scaramouche like his life depended on it. "Shut the fuck up." Scaramouche death glared at him then continued to walk back to Dottore. "You are such a crybaby, god damn." Dottore rolled his eyes, "What are gonna do? Call for your mom?"

"Collei!" Mr. Tighnari came into the hallway, "Dottore, after school detention!" Mr. Tighnari looked around the hallway. "How many times do I have to tell you to not to bully Collei?" Mr. Tighnari crossed his arms, "And who knocked out this boy?" He pointed at Kaeya lying on the floor unconscious. "See? I told you Scaramouche was bad news." Aether whispered. "Hey, Aether and Kazuha." Heizou ran over. "Did you see? Your boyfriend knocked out that boy on the floor." Venti said. "He's not my boyfriend! And I'm not gay!" Kazuha sighed. (When will they believe me? Or are they just simply right? No, I'm not gay! I've dated girls not boys!) "Why is nobody telling Mr. Tighnari that Scaramouche almost killed him?" Heizou asked. "I don't know... Maybe they are scared?" Venti thought. "Wait... Where even is he?" Kazuha looked around the hallway.

I'm late.😭 I am so sorry! My English teacher assigned me so many assignments focusing on grammer and words. I think my English has improved a bit but still she overworked (is that the right word?) us. I barely had anytime to work on the chapter except 1 weekend. I rushed the last half with my friend helping me. Honestly, I barely thought about what I was writing and went with it and it turned out weird. Also I read "Heizou ran over" as "Heizou got ran over" 5 times before I finally realized what it said... Anyways, was the chapter good? Does it need improvement?
