This story is in the Esta Faho, Rahn Estar, Elshar Zheiea group. Other stories in this group are Becky's Gift and Ella's Saga. Bedelia is roommates with Becky and Elsie in Atlanta, Georgia.
Bedelia is majoring in Business at GSU and picturing a climb of the corporate ladder when all those plans are interrupted.

Stacy's Escape
A neighbor whom Stacy, stay-at-home Mom, barely knows drops off a green cube that allows her to escape her abusive husband, the day SETI discovered aliens.
About how Stacy gets away from her abusive husband, whom their parents forced to marry when she was 13. She's now 18 and terrified.

About The Cover
I used a corporate report cover to represent Bedelia's very ambitious life before she meets Jos Keil, who is a diplomat-in-aid at this time of his life. I used pictures from Pexels for my characters. In GIMP I actually erased the background on one and the head from a DAZ render using the Bridge Officer Uniform, which I use as my diplomats' uniform. Now I have my male character wearing it. I had to smooth out my fella's complexion because Zheien don't have blemishes or acne, or beards. I added a lot of yellow to his skin which didn't end up showing very well, but he's very pale for most of the story, so it works.
The light green of Bedelia's dress was perfect for their family color, so I didn't have to change that at all.
The cover was finished in Canva.

Words Written In Jul 42058 - 4702 - 8,443 = 28,913 countable Oops, 42055 - 16,218 = 25,837 countable, I recounted. Still Platinum. Subtracted copied stuff from Becky's Gift and Ella's Saga, rewritten from Becky or Ella's POV to Bedelia's for these scenes where they are sharing conversations. I wrote a whole bunch of new stuff in these chapters, but I didn't want to count it if it's not totally new.
