𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐰𝐨

Eleanor walked into the kitchen sitting down at the table "Morning" she greeted the three men who were already sat there

"Good morning honey, did you sleep well?" Her father asked

"Yeah. Are you going to work today?"

Her uncle chuckled "Sadly, we have a few surgeries so we're going to be late home tonight. There's some food in the fridge if you want."

"Thanks" KJ mumbled, sliding his father a permission slip

"What's this?" James asked, reading the slip

"It's a karate slip... I want to learn how to do karate. I think it would be cool" He shrugged

"Absolutely not" James denied, taking a long gulp of his coffee "You will not be doing karate at all. At least not Cobra Kai methods"

"Why not? Eleanor does it!" The young boy scowled

"Because I said so. You are my son and you will not do it behind my back" James snapped getting up "If you find a karate dojo that does not do any harmful activities then maybe I will think about it"

"Uncle J... Cobra Kai doesn't allow the new fighters to compete against each other straight away. They have to be taught and trained then they slowly begin to compete against each other" Eleanor explained eating a bowl of strawberries

"Chris?" James looked at his friend but the man just shrugged "I allow Eleanor to do it, she hasn't been injured. It's good for self defence"

The greying man sighed "Fine" He quickly signed the permission slip "I'm going to go early" He picked up his bag and walked out of the house

Christopher sighed and got up "I'll talk to him, don't worry kids" He kissed Eleanor on the head and walked out too

KJ turned to Eleanor "Does my dad hate me or something?"

"Of course not. It's just an adjustment for him to have a kid around again. He hasn't been around you for a while, it's a little much for him" She explained, taking the dirty dishes and putting them in the sink

KJ helped her " But he's been fine with you"

Eleanor laughed "Only because he didn't raise me. Yes he helped but my dad raised me, even when my parents were still together. Your dad use to talk about you all the time and then you stopped visiting him, it broke his heart.." She began to wash the dishes passing them to KJ who patted them dry and put them away

"Why did they divorce?" He asked

"My dad caught my mom cheating on him with your dad... and our sensei.... and probably quite a few other men" She laughed

"Oh my god... our parents are sluts" He laughed

"What time is it?" She asked, drying her hands

"Time for karate" He joked

"Let's go before we're late"

Hawk stared at the two new members of the dojo, Chris and Mitch, he hummed before stating "Shithead one and shithead two"

Aisha laughed along side him "I was thinking more Mary-Kate and asshat"

"I-I'm Chris" One of the spoke up

"Did I say you could speak?" Hawk snapped

Miguel shook his head and patted Chris o the shoulder "They're just joking... besides everyone knows your names are assface and douchebag"

Eleanor and KJ walked over to the group "Whose a douchebag?" He asked
