The life of actors and models seems all sparkly, unfortunately, it's far from this. They are overworked, on extreme diets and let's not forget- you can't make mistakes, because one mistake and you lose your career.
Haters will pinpoint your mistakes. At one point fame will take a toll on your mental health. At last, nothing will be left except regret- of making that one mistake.

Hey I am y/n. I am 5'7 and 27 years old. I am a doctor, and also a model, but that's not the bad part. The bad part is that- in South Korea.
I started this career when I moved to South Korea shortly after my mom's death. My dad passed away when I was 5 . I was a doctor by profession. I wanted to practice medicine but I couldn't do it in my own country because I felt alone in a familiar place. I know this may sound weird but it made sense in my mind and my current situation. I chose korea because I was familiar with it. I love watching Kdramas and also listen to korean music. So this was a dream place for me. I passed my licensing exam and applied for jobs in various hospitals as a general practitioner. I had a lot of money saved up already by working various jobs during my studies, so moving countries was not that difficult. I rented an apartment and had plenty of money saved for my survival till I got a job.

As for my modeling career, I was approached by a guy in a mall who wanted to recruit me- of course I denied because a random guy approaching you with a card is a bright red siren of danger, especially as a female in a foreign country.

After I went home I decided to look up the company on the internet and it turned out to be legit and a famous one at that. I had no plans for modelling at that time so I didn't call him but kept the card safe.

Living in Korea made me realize that previously I had no life outside of medicine and studies. So, me being me I made a bold choice and called the recruiter and told him I would model.
