Chapter 2 - My career and Him

I was invited to the company and after a bunch of interviews and modelling tests - I passed.

This was the kick-start of a new career for me and being a newcomer in such a competitive industry was nothing out of the ordinary for me because well... I went through medschool.

I got several modelling gigs and was introduced to a manager. Her name is Park Han byul. We've been working together for 2 years now. I worked hard and did a lot to be where I was and it certainly wasn't easy.

If you know anything about South Korea, you know the beauty standards here are a nightmare. Especially as a model, people expect you to look like a goddess with no imperfections- As if you're inhuman. But well it was me who decided to do it so anyways....

To be honest working as a model was actually fun although tiring. Everyday after I came back, nothing would be more relaxing than watching a new kdrama or a movie. One weird thing is that I have never fallen in love with someone. I have lots of fictional crushes and have favourite actors but I have never been obsessed with someone. I mostly focused on my studies and never dated, so well - I am a single hopeless romantic.

Today, after I got off of work I asked Han byul:

Y/n: byullaa Do you have any movie suggestions?

Han byul: umm I don't know if it will be of your liking, but I watched this movie called "night in paradise" and it was really good although it had a bittersweet ending. It stars Uhm Tae goo and jeon Yeo bin.

Y/n: I couldn't think of anything to watch today so let's see. Thanks for the suggestion. I have watched jeon Yeo bin in Vincenzo. She's so pretty. I will definitely watch it. You should also go home it's quite late. Take care of yourself. See you tomorrow, bye.

Han byul: Ahh yes okay, see you, Bye y/n.

After I came home I changed into my comfy PJ's and went straight to netflix, Searched for night in paradise and started watching it.
2 hours passed and the movie ended. It was really good. Jeon Yeo bin is such a versatile actress I love her.

But apart from her, the main male lead caught my eye. I looked him up on the internet and he is Uhm Tae Goo.

Y/n: My God he's so fucking handsome. Why did I not know about this man before. I need to watch more movies and dramas starring him.

It was pretty late so I decided to sleep - but I had his image in my mind constantly, a person I didn't know would become such an important part of my life
