Prologue: Descent into Madness

It's been five years since the world gone to hell. Walker have risen and are nothing more than mindless monsters eating us. They aren't the problem. There is far worse than walkers, the living. I was ten years old when it all started. My dad was bitten by our neighbor, and I had to shoot him so he wouldn't turn. I ended up in Macon and met my girl, Clementine, and my new family. There was Kenny, he's a good man, he protects us. Then there's Carley. She's been a mom to me. And there's Alvin Jr, but we call him AJ. He's Clem and my little goofball. Things were okay, until we were forced to join the New Frontier. AJ got sick and they wouldn't let us have any meds because their doctor is a fucking junkie. When we tried to get AJ some medicine, they kicked us out, and took away our boy. I told them if I ever saw them again, then I will fucking kill them and burn their so called "community" to the ground. Losing AJ affected all of us, especially Clem, who has been suffering changes of mood. One minute she hates me, the next she's sorry. I'm sure it's just the grief talking. That's why I swear to God, I will kill anyone who threatens my family. This new world has made me into fucking monster, and I intend to scare the living hell out of it.
