Yoongi limped into his hideout, the lingering pain from his previous injuries still making each step a challenge. The events of the past few days had left him feeling vulnerable, but the urgency of the new case drove him forward. He knew that sitting around and waiting for more demons to come after him was not an option.
He glanced at the file on his desk: a new case involving a series of mysterious disappearances linked to a possible demonic presence. The victims had vanished without a trace, and the police had hit a dead end. Yoongi had no intention of letting this case slip through the cracks.
Yoongi: (Muttering to himself) "I can't afford to be sidelined. If there's a chance to stop this, I need to be out there."
With a determined expression, Yoongi began preparing for the investigation. His wounds, though healing, were still sore and required careful handling. He patched himself up as best as he could, opting for practical attire that would allow him to move more freely.
As he left his hideout, Yoongi's mind raced with thoughts of the case. He knew he couldn't afford any distractions, especially with the lingering knowledge of Bianca's true nature. The pain of her revelation still stung, but he pushed it aside, focusing on the task at hand.
Yoongi: (To himself) "Stay focused. Find the demon, solve the case."
The night was cool and quiet as Yoongi made his way to the location where the disappearances had been reported. He went undercover, blending in with the surroundings, and kept a keen eye on the environment. His instincts were sharper than ever, despite his physical discomfort.
As he arrived at the scene, Yoongi noticed the area was eerily quiet. Abandoned buildings and dark alleys painted a perfect backdrop for demonic activity. He carefully maneuvered through the streets, using his trained senses to detect any signs of supernatural presence.
Yoongi: (Whispering) "Something feels off. I need to stay alert."
His heart raced as he approached an old warehouse, one of the locations connected to the disappearances. He drew his sword cautiously, ready for whatever might emerge from the shadows. The air was thick with tension, and the sense of foreboding grew stronger with each step.
Inside the warehouse, Yoongi's flashlight illuminated the dusty interior. The place was littered with old equipment and discarded items, but nothing seemed out of place—until he heard a faint noise coming from deeper within.
Yoongi: (To himself) "There's something here."
He moved stealthily, the soft creak of the wooden floor beneath him the only sound. As he turned a corner, his flashlight caught a glimpse of something unsettling: a series of strange markings on the walls and a faint, acrid smell that hinted at dark magic.
Before he could investigate further, a sudden movement caught his eye. Yoongi's grip tightened on his sword, his senses on high alert. A figure darted through the shadows, and Yoongi pursued it with swift determination.
The chase led him through the maze-like interior of the warehouse, each turn bringing him closer to the source of the disturbance. His instincts guided him, and he finally cornered the figure in a small, dimly lit room.
Yoongi: (Firmly) "Stop right there!"
The figure turned, revealing itself to be a young woman with a look of desperation in her eyes. She was disheveled and frightened, but there was something strange about her. Before Yoongi could react, she collapsed to the floor, her strength seemingly depleted.
Yoongi: (Approaching cautiously) "What happened? Are you okay?"
The woman looked up at him with a weak smile.
