Yoongi was sitting in the living room, still processing Bianca's return, when his phone rang. He glanced at the caller ID and saw it was Hoseok, his cousin. With a furrowed brow, he answered the call.
Yoongi: "Hey Hoseok, what's up?"
Hoseok's voice was tense on the other end of the line.
Hoseok: "Yoongi, it's Uncle Taehmin. He's been missing for three days. He was working on a case in that old, haunted house on the outskirts of town, and no one's heard from him since."
Yoongi's heart sank. His uncle was a seasoned hunter, always taking on the most dangerous jobs. If he was missing, it meant something had gone terribly wrong.
Yoongi: "Three days? Why didn't you call me sooner?"
Hoseok: "I thought he might have just been caught up in the job, but it's not like him to go silent for this long. I'm worried, Yoongi. We need to find him."
Yoongi's mind raced. With Bianca's return and now this, it felt like the weight of the world was pressing down on him.
Yoongi: "Alright, I'll head over there right away. Stay put and gather any information you can. We'll find him, Hoseok."
Hoseok: "Thanks, Yoongi. I'll see you soon."
Yoongi hung up the phone, his face set in determination. Bianca, who had been watching him, could see the worry etched on his features.
Bianca: "What happened?"
Yoongi: "My uncle's missing. He was working on a case involving a vengeful spirit in a haunted house and hasn't been heard from in three days. I need to go find him."
Bianca nodded, her own sense of urgency rising.
Bianca: "I'll come with you. We'll need all the help we can get."
Yoongi hesitated for a moment, remembering the danger she had just escaped from, but then he nodded. He knew they were stronger together.
Yoongi: "Alright, let's go."
They quickly gathered their gear and headed out. The drive to the haunted house was tense, the silence between them filled with unspoken fears. When they arrived, they saw Hoseok waiting outside, his face pale with worry.
Hoseok: "Yoongi, and this girl, thank you for coming."
Yoongi hugged his cousin briefly, then looked up at the imposing, decrepit house.
Yoongi: "This is Bianca. What do we know about this place?"
Hoseok: "It's been abandoned for decades. Locals say it's haunted by a vengeful spirit of a woman who died tragically here. Uncle was trying to put her to rest."
Bianca's eyes narrowed as she studied the house. She could feel the dark energy emanating from within, a familiar sensation that made her uneasy.
Bianca: "You need to be careful. Spirits like this can be unpredictable and dangerous."
Yoongi nodded, leading the way to the entrance. The door creaked open, revealing a dimly lit interior. Dust and cobwebs covered every surface, and the air was heavy with a sense of foreboding.
They moved cautiously through the house, calling out for Yoongi's uncle but receiving no response. As they ventured deeper, Bianca felt a cold chill run down her spine.
Bianca: "There's something here. It's strong."
Just then, they heard a faint, desperate cry for help. Yoongi's heart leapt.
Yoongi: "Uncle! We're coming!"
They followed the sound to a room at the back of the house. The door was ajar, and as they pushed it open, they saw Yoongi's uncle lying on the floor, weak but alive.
Yoongi: "Uncle, are you alright?"
Yoongi's uncle looked up, relief flooding his eyes.
Uncle: "Yoongi...thank God you're here. The spirit...it's too powerful. I couldn't...do it alone."
Bianca stepped forward, her presence was powerful and commanding the room.
Bianca: "Stay here, I'll handle it. Stay together and make a salt circle."
As Yoongi and Hoseok quickly complied, the temperature in the room dropped sharply. A chilling wind blew through, and the vengeful spirit materialized before them, her face twisted in anger and pain.
Spirit: "Leave this place! You cannot save him!"
Bianca stood her ground, her eyes flashing with determination.
Bianca: "We're not leaving. Your time here is over."
The spirit screamed, launching herself at them, but Bianca raised her hand, creating a barrier that repelled the attack. Yoongi and Hoseok watched in awe as Bianca confronted the spirit with unwavering resolve.
Bianca: "You will find peace. Rest now."
With a final, powerful surge of energy, Bianca dispelled the spirit, her form dissipating into the air. The room fell silent, the oppressive energy lifting.
After Bianca dispelled the spirit, a nagging thought lingered in her mind. Something wasn't right; the spirit they encountered wasn't as strong as it should have been.
Bianca: "Stay in the salt circle. Something feels off. This wasn't the spirit we were expecting."
Just as she finished speaking, the air around them grew colder. Before Bianca could react, the true vengeful spirit emerged, its form more menacing and powerful than the first. With a furious scream, the spirit launched itself at Bianca.
Spirit: "You cannot banish me so easily!"
The spirit collided with Bianca, knocking her to the ground. The room filled with a dark, oppressive energy as the spirit's anger manifested in swirling shadows.
Yoongi: "Bianca!"
Yoongi and Hoseok watched helplessly from within the salt circle, their hearts pounding with fear and concern.
Bianca: "Stay in the circle! I'll handle this!"
Bianca scrambled to her feet, her eyes burning with determination. She channeled her energy, creating a protective shield around herself as the spirit lashed out again. The force of the spirit's attacks was immense, each blow testing the limits of her shield.
Bianca: "You will not harm them!"
The spirit hissed, its form shifting and writhing as it tried to break through Bianca's defenses. Bianca pushed back with all her might, her power surging as she confronted the malevolent entity.
Bianca: "This end now!"
Drawing on her inner strength, Bianca unleashed a powerful wave of energy, enveloping the spirit. The spirit screamed in agony as Bianca's energy tore through its form, dissolving it into nothingness.
The room fell silent once more, the oppressive energy dissipating into the ether. Bianca stood there, panting and exhausted but triumphant.
Yoongi and Hoseok quickly left the salt circle and rushed to her side.
Yoongi: "Bianca, are you alright?"
Bianca: "I'm fine, just a bit drained. But it's over now. The spirit is gone."
Hoseok: "Thank you, Bianca. We couldn't have done this without you."
Bianca smiled weakly, her strength returning slowly.
Bianca: "We're not out of the woods yet. Let's get your uncle out of here and make sure he gets the care he needs."
With Yoongi and Hoseok supporting their uncle, they made their way out of the haunted house. The dawn's light was a welcome sight, signaling the end of their harrowing ordeal. Yet, as they left the house behind, Bianca couldn't shake the feeling that their battles were far from over.
