ooo. There was an insatiable hunger inside of Aeverie Godwyn. Her heart always yearned for more, taking in more than she could chew until she felt her stomach twist and turn. And no matter how hard she tried, she always wanted more. Perhaps this was a result of her childhood, her innocent idyll years had come to a brunt end when the noble house of Godwyn faced the wrath of its own. Her father's brother, the second son, attempted to usurp Coran Godwyn's claim to the Floren throne. And the second son's anger was not one to be dealt with. He sieged the land, set fire to its beauty, and slayed Aeverie's father in the process. Perhaps, when Coran Godwyn lost his head and the thump it made as it fell to the ground, Aeverie realized she had been starving. Starving for the power to put an end to the misery her uncle had unfolded. And so she rose on wobbly legs, blood coaxed on her flesh but her willpower unfaded. Her hand gripped a sword from a fallen knight, tightly and trembling. With all the strength she could muster, with every ounce of power in the marrow of her bones she swung the sword until it cut through her uncle's heart. Her uncle's body rolled along with her father's. Perhaps, that was the day Aeverie Godwyn's cruelty was born. In the end, she didn't care for the origin of her rage for her heart was one entwined with sanguinary, and there was no way she was going to let Aemond Targaryen burn her heart with his dragon's inferno.

ooo. Aemond Targaryen doesn't believe in many things. He doesn't believe in the gods for there is only one God, and that God is death. He doesn't believe his father loves him nor his other children born from Alicent Hightower, and finally, he doesn't believe in true-born evil. Aemond doesn't believe in the villains from stories he was told or taught as a child, for nobody is born a villain. Evil is made, not born and Aemond realized this when his nephew carved out his eye. The eye patch he now wears is a reminder, a reminder of the day evil festered into his soul. And so, he did not care if people thought him a monster. The whispers said behind his back were nothing more than dead air to him, why should he care about the opinion of others when he wielded power much greater? Aemond Targaryen is not a boy of faith, he is not a follower of anything or anyone. But there is one thing he believes, and that is power. And there was no way he was going to let the so-called, 'Warrior Princess,' of Floren stand in his siege for power. For, Aemond Targaryen was doused in dragon fire and its viciousness was as wild as its flames.
