Surrounded by King Beard's men with no way to escape their hiding place, Gloria and Morena find themselves in a desperate situation. Determined to save her daughter, Gloria uses a magic wand to create a portal to a new world. During the process, she is struck by a crossbow bolt but manages to hand the wand to Morena.
Prince Richard arrives and tries to stop his father from attacking them, but it is too late. Gloria, gravely injured, urges Morena to go through the portal without her.
With tears streaming down her face, Morena steps through the portal, leaving behind her beloved mother. As she enters the new world, she cries for the loss and the sacrifices made, her heart heavy with grief.
