Chapter 7: I'm so unlucky. REWRITTEN

Previously on 'The Hidden Secrets' In the corner of my eye I see someone guarding a red dressed girl with silver eyes who is obviously Ruby Rose she also saw me and I payed that she hasn't gotten her semblance yet and she doesn't have her semblance but she does seem to be incredibly fast for a 3 year old though it would still take her some time to get me even with my leg wound as she's chasing me and I have my escape planned for practically anything.

Running... Running hurts, especially when 4 people are chasing you and one of them is right on my non-existent tail and I don't even have aura so this hurts even more, not to mention how I would feel tomorrow, luckily they haven't court me yet because of all the people I'm having to weaving through but this is REALLY HURTING MY LEG like come on it was just starting to heal.

Seeing an opportunity that might allow me too escape I quickly took it and turned the corner and climbing the ladder as fast as possible, once up I quickly start parkour-ing my way back to 'base' as fast as possible while trying to be safe, looking back after I feel like it's safe enough too, I realised that nobody was after me anymore.

Taking my time so that way I wouldn't make my injury worse while also unwrapping the makeshift scarf that was around my face ,made from the cloth of my t-shirt, hoping that Ruby wouldn't be able to recognize me even if she only saw half of my face but if she wasn't able to recognize Cinder when she was 16 then lets hope a 3 year old Ruby wouldn't be able to recognize me. (I know she was 15 but this is for the story)

*TIME-SKIP BROUGHT BY RUBY TRYING TO REMEMBER DETAILS ON EDWARD*

It took two days for Edward's leg to heal, which felt abnormal as it was a stab wound and he doesn't even have his aura unlocked, most of that time was spent in the library as there wasn't much for him to do when he's got a broken leg, Lucy was not happy when she found out what Edward was doing especially when he was being chased.

After the long scolding that Edward received, he went to the history section in the library and found an interesting book about aura and semblance it was written by somebody called Monty Oum which definitely surprised him but he got the book and stated to read the section on aura "We know very little about aura however from my adventurers I have discovered that aura is the manifestation of the first or second layer of the soul, if somebody else 'unlocked' your aura then the first layer is unlocked depending on how deep you allowed the person to go in your soul, if you allow them to go deep into your soul then somethings about you might change for example personality and you might start to copy some traits about the person that unlocked your aura."

"Semblances are the unlocked when the second layer of the soul is released giving you the powers that is shaped by the mind, body and soul first the mind thinks about the semblance then the body makes it work for the body and last the soul that makes it unique for the being that was able to unlocked there soul, while some semblances may be similar they are never perfectly identical."

"Hey Edward, it's closing time so you need to leave, however if you want you could stay here since there's a spare room that you could stay in if you want." Lucy asked as she was worried that he was staying on the

"Hmm, it's alright Lucy I managed to find a place that I like." The place that Edward is talking about is an apartment building that has the higher floors blocked by rubble and it's mainly abandoned as the outside looks burnt and destroyed; he discovered this when running on the roofs.

Surprised Lucy chose not to question it. "Well alright but if you ever need a place to stay let me know as I've said there's a spare room that you can stay in if you want."

Edward says no as he doesn't want to feel attached to Lucy so he quickly lives but not before hiding the very special book under a marked shelf.
