Chapter 12: Confrontation REWRITTEN

Previously on "Hidden Secrets" Violet is discovering more about Edgar also known as Edward his slight amisha seems to have been just an act for Violet to trust him more but that seems to be failing as Ruby and Yang are interacting with him and he knew them, even though he was meant to have slight amisha. Violet seems to also be concerned at the fact that Ed lives alone in the woods even offering him a hotel room that she was willing to pay for him even Ruby offered for him to live with her... and Yang. He declined both offers as he was already comfortable with where he lives.

Yang P.O.V just before Ed declined both Violet's and Ruby's offer to where he could live.

'This Edward? Edgar? Egg , this egg I don't trust him Ruby's calling him Edward and Violets calling him Edgar... I just hope Ruby will be ok when she finds out if he's lying or not.'

I looked at my sister in shock when she just suddenly asked him to live with us without even asking me or dad or mu... Thankfully Egg finally spoke what he wanted.

"I-I'm fine, that house was only built for as long as I'm in Signal so there wasn't much use upgrading it, also Ruby although I appreciate the offer, I'm good." That's all he has to say... 'why does this seem more like an excuse then anything'

As Violet and Egg argued I pulled Ruby to the side as I wanted to know what she was thinking and why, I quietly whispered at her "RUBY WHAT WERE YOU THINKING? He's pretty much a stranger and you're inviting him to LIVE with us. What if he's a criminal or something, you didn't even ask me or Dad... It's best if you ask me first though"

All Ruby had to say was a nervous "I-I know Yang b-but he's got nobody except for a few friends." 'I... I didn't know that.'

"Ruby, look I didn't know that but you should still ask either me or dad first, you don't even know if he's trustworthy or not especially when people are calling him different names to the one you know"

"Fine, but he'll be coming to Signal so we can keep an eye on him... It's just I feel like I have this connection with him and it feels... nice? Safe?"

"Sigh. look Ruby that's probably just a crush or something it'll disappear when you get older besides we need to get home soon before dad burns the house down or worse."

Ed's P.O.V when his argument with Violet is over he won the argument.

'Sigh. Why is she so stubborn?' "Now where should we go? Because if nobody else has an idea then can we please go to the shopping mall because I want to make sure I have everything I need for Signal tomorrow."

"Sorry Egg-I mean Ed me and my sister need to get home before our dad burns the house down so this is where we have to say our goodbyes for now." Yang suddenly replied and Egg?

"Oh ur alright bye... Egg?" I whispered the last part genuinely confused.

"OH UR before we go, can we trade scroll numbers so I can text you later?" Oh right we never got a chance to trade numbers man that night was hectic. "Sure." and so we traded numbers leaving just me and Vi.

"Erm..... what now?" Violet asks not sure what to do.

"Shopping I guess, I need to make sure I have everything for Signal and maybe you want something as a souvenir?" After all, Vi won't be able to stay here forever. Her home probably needs her or something.

"Right then, guess I'll go back home when ya head to signal, but we could always meet again anyday!" she says with a smile that shines like the sun.

"Right, who knows' maybe one day I'll be in your world wouldn't that be a surprise." not to mention it was nice meeting people like me even if she didn't know that.
