The above pic cuz thats just how school was😶
The elections had not yet taken place, there was still the campaigning the seniors had to do and then it would be the voting. But before all that and all a few cute things did happen which I would like to share with you guys!
You see, I had already been sick and tired of just admiring him from afar the whole last year and now I had the chance to be close to him and I genuinely wanted to be his friend. But obviously that would not be happening if the only thing we did was look a each other, have a brief eye contact and then turn away.
So, I decided that next time whenever we both look at each other or find each other having an eye contact I would give him a small smile and wave at him, so that we could become familiar with each other. And it wouldn't be so weird cuz he obviously knew that I was his classmate's friend.
The plan was so hard to implement at first because the stupid bish would always turn away as soon as my eye caught his! That stupid shit really!
But after a long ass time it did work out cuz slowly he did start to acknowledge me and smile back and after some time even raising his hand to wave back.
It was so cute cuz his responses were very brief, like he was too shy to be caught by anyone.
Then came the day of campaigning and I don't know how much I heard the speech given by others but I was wholeheartedly listening to him when he came up to speak.
Though he looked adorably awkward and out of place.
The voting took place a few days after that (I obviously voted for the awkward little rat) and a long time after that were the results. The results were not what I expected but kinda expected at the same time.
He didn't win. Even his friend didn't win. The guy I had kept as my "second option" won and some other guy won in place of his friend.
I decided I wouldn't keep anyone as a "second option" cuz that was just so dumb and I cringe at myself now that I remember it everytime. But I still do acknowledge that the dude was good looking. That fact couldn't be changed.
After the results were announced, conveniently it was our lunch break and I met my friend Amelia.
She was going to go talk to Theo and his friend and maybe offer a few comforting words and she wanted me and my friends to come along with her.
We did go there, talked a little and we left. If I'm not wrong... one or two days later another incident happened. I had been feeling bad that I couldn't tell Theo the words I actually wanted to say to him and maybe a few more supportive words and the universe heard me bitches!
Mt friends and I were sitting on one of the benches in the field. Paulina and I were sitting while Scarlett, facing us, was saying something.
Suddenly I saw someone behind her but by the time they came into frame and my brain processed their faces, Scarlett had already shrieked with the sudden appearance of two people from behind her.
Seeing her getting startled Theo and his friend moved a little away from her and stood facing us.
They had come to thank us for our support and it was kind of cute. I said, "we'll always support you." Meaning me and my friends but what I had really meant while looking at Theo was, "I'll always support you."
After that they left and the three of us were joking and laughing about how Scarlett had gotten so startled and how the two of them were so sweet and humble.
It was a cute encounter.
