[CHAPTER 1] A Fairytale's Start

(In this society, the out-of-the-ordinary becomes a reality. In this world, we have what everyone knows as Heroes. We've all seen them in comic books and stories that we've read as kids, and it's always led to the same thought or dream... of becoming those heroes we'd see in those books. And we can, thanks to the genetic factor that everyone has come to name... Quirks.)

(The first ever quirk started simply, like a baby basking in a beam of light, having a golden glow surrounding it. However, over time, as the world and human lives evolved, so did the evolution and variety of Quirks. They became more diverse, some seeming like they shouldn't even belong to a human, while others were just silly little stuff we could never pull. But besides all of that, Quirks gave us the ability to change our world for the better.)

(Or at least, that's what everyone would think...)

(You know the phrase, 'When there's light, there's always darkness?' Well, let's just say our society was filled with people who didn't always think towards the right path, but wanted to form a path of their own, filled with destruction, self-thought, and pain. Using their quirks to only get what they want, bringing the lives of innocents down if they needed to, and always performing their deeds with a twisted grin. What I'm trying to say is, if you have heroes, you'll always have villains.)

(With the bringing of heroes against villains, they've been pitted against each other for thousands of years, constantly doing their best to either defend the city or destroy it.)

(But, there's always that one person who shines brighter, always somehow signaling a beam of hope and peace for everyone, someone who, no matter the circumstance, always puts the safety of people first and somehow finds a way to make others smile with his presence. And that person here is All Might, the Symbol of Peace, the Number One Hero. The one who would always fight any villainy, no matter the odds, and would save people with a smile.)

(I guess I haven't introduced myself, my bad. My name is Izuku Midoriya, and this is my story on how I had to power through the harsh reality of life to become something I always hoped to be... a Hero.)

– CHAPTER START!

The gentle breeze, cars, and people walking around at every turn, small to big corner stores and shops around, and districts buzzing with enjoyment. These were the many things found in the streets of Masutafu, Japan. A place that is known as the home of the 15-year-old boy, Izuku Midoriya, is currently making his way to school. Not many know this, mainly because he wants to keep it a secret, but he's known as the son of the No.43 Pro Hero, Telek-Bolt, and No.27 Pro Hero, Salamander.

Before his birth, the two pros had announced their retirement to their fellow pro heroes the moment the married couple learned that Inko was pregnant with Izuku. Of course, the duo gained massive support and congratulations from their comrades and friends. And from that point after their retirement, they decided to live a good life as a normal family. But the married duo still tends to help out whenever they can or need to. Although, according to them, as much as they loved being heroes, dealing with fans was... not their forte, especially when the crowd learned about and saw Izuku, which somehow made the paparazzi even bigger, and avoiding them, harder.
