"That's good. Keep monitoring the situation."

Bongbong instructed the person on the other side of the line. It had been 17 hours since Typhoon Lesley entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility and he had been reaching out to different sectors to keep himself updated.

They were prepared but no one expected the amount of rain the typhoon had. Some areas were already flooded. He coordinated with some of the local offices and sent relief goods to the evacuees.

"Some parts of Quezon City are already flooded." Lisa, one of his staff informed him — showing pictures of places on her iPad.

He leaned closer to the gadget and made her stop swiping. "Wait." He swiped it back to reveal a photo of a flood outside a building.

He thanked her and left — fishing his phone from his pocket along the way. "Where are you?" He asked with a demanding tone.

"I-Uhm...at my condo." Leni answered reluctantly from the other line.

"Don't go out. It's flooded outside." He instructed and opened his car door.

"But..." She paused. "Walang electricity and...uhm. I don't have stock na food."

He brushed his palm across his face. "Wait. I'll be there in a few."

Before she could even answer. Bongbong dropped the call and started driving. On his way, he bought groceries and he went to a fast food restaurant to buy a meal.

Meters away from her condo, he realized how his car could not brave the flood any longer. He packed the things he had with him carefully and walked out of his car. Shiver ran across his spine when his legs met the cold water.

The rain kept on pouring — drenching his face down to the tuxedo he was still wearing. He did not mind. All he thought about was the fact that Leni was stranded inside with no food at all.

He had been scolding her about it. Leni had been forgetting to keep stocks of food since she was alone most of the time and was about to move out when he stopped her to stay as his DSWD secretary.

As he walked closer and closer, the flood also went higher and higher up to his thighs and waist. He reached the ground floor and remembered that there was no electricity.

The guard asked for his ID. He stared at him blankly but gave what was in the inner pocket of his coat. He also asked him why there weren't any generators and the guard replied that there has been a problem but it would be fixed in a few minutes.

His body was trembling in the cold as he climbed up the stairs. Thankfully, she was staying on the sixth floor of the building. His teeth were grinding against each and his hand was shaking but he managed to knock on her door.

"Mr. President?" She exclaimed when she saw him soaked.

She let him in and placed everything he was holding and placed it on the island of her kitchen. "Oh my God. Anong ginawa mo?"

"Saving you." He replied and managed to smile.

She flicked his forehead. "You don't need to. Bukas huhupa din 'yan. I can manage."

"Nope. I won't allow you to starve here — alone and afraid."

She smiled softly but... "Afraid of?"

"The dark?" He said and wandered only to realize that she had portable lights turned on that somehow illuminated them.

Her hand reached out to him and started removing his coat. "Wait... What are you doing? You're not ready for this."

She stifled her laugh. "I am but that's not what we're going to do." She continued undressing him — leaving his short. "Take a bath. I will try to find something that would fit you."

He could feel the warmth when she touched his chest. He held her hand and stared at her with desire.

She rolled her eyes. "Clean yourself up. Baka sakaling magbago pa ang isip ko."

---

When he went out of her bathroom. She was already sitting on the bed. The pout on her face was being illuminated by the dim light of the lamp-like portable light she had beside her bed.

"Walang kasya sa'yo." She announced, pulling what she was holding in her hand. "Magganto ka nalang muna."

He approached her — half naked. Towel was the only clothing covering his waist. Droplets from his hair reached her face and his hand automatically wiped them with his thumb.

"That will do." He said and got the bathrobe from her and wore it while staring at her. She was gazing back at him. "Why? Do I look hot?" He asked with a grin.

"You look stupid." She retorted. "You did not have to do that. Ang OA ha."

"OA pero pogi." He said and leaned forward to her.

She was still sitting on the edge of the bed while he was standing in front of her. Her trunk leaned backward as he moved closer to her. He was enjoying looking at her face.

"I'm still cold." He said. His lips were inches away from her.

He could see her looking at his lips and back to his eyes. Her hands went to his arm and he was slowly guiding her to lay in bed.

"Mr. President..."

Her voice was his undoing. He reached for her lips and gave her a kiss. He did not expect her to kiss him back but she did. She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him closer. She was already laying on the bed.

His hand crawled inside her shirt — rubbing it gently. He heard her gasp due to the coldness of his hand. It went up to her covered chest.

"Bong-"

He heard her say when he began massaging her breast from outside her bra. "Yes?" He replied playfully in between their kisses.

They broke their kiss as he pulled her shirt up and with one hand, he unclasped her bra. He continued kissing her on her cheek to her ear and down to her neck while she was rubbing his back gently.

She moaned when he sucked her skin on her neck. The moment abruptly stopped when his phone rang.

*Ring ring*

Shouldn't have placed that inside the plastic.
