chapter 2

Its now friday night and I was off to a party at my friend Deliah's house. I washed my hair and left it to hang in lose curls on my shoulders. I then dressed in a thigh length dress that was blue with flowers on. It wasn't to tight but showed off my curves nicely. Next I applied a little masacara and grabbed my handbag. I slipped on my little blue heals and head off to walk to Deliah's house. She lived a 5 minute walk from my house so it didnt take long to get there.

As soon as I arrived I was tackled by mia and our friend Lula who both wrapped there arms tightly around me. The biggest smiles spread on there faces at the sight of me. Mia linked arms with me and walked me over to where the drinks were. 

"He's here" She whispered to me. Confusing struck. Who was she on about??

"What, who do you mean?" I asked trying to keep my voice down. I don't need Lula to catch on to anything and make a big deal.

"Leo duh, I know you want to se him." When I just stood there blank faces she continued. "You dressed up really pretty wore make up, and I bet you will hardly eat tonight."

She knew me to well. I hadn't really noticed that I had dressed differently but i suppose I had made more of an effort.

2 hours later we had all ate some food of a BBQ I was determind to prove Mia wrong. Now everyone was dance out on the decking in the garden. Me and Lula were dancing the most, swaying our hips as everyone jumped up and down when the beat kicked in. The boys slow all came over and joined in and I suddenly felt self conscious. I slowed my danceing and took to just waving my hand in time with the music. Lula noticed and looked questionaly at me.

"Just tired" I lied to her.

"Come on Hailey I know thats not true, you and me could dance all night if we were allowed." She giggled at the end.

"Its nothing really just feeling a bit watched thats all." I spoke quietly at the end. Turn my head in Leo's direction to check he hadn't noticed.

"Oh... I get it you totally have a thing for him." I stood open mouthed at her.

"What where did you get that from???" I demand an answer.

"Its so obvious, I think everyone has a hunch you do." She smiled sweetly try to make up for what she had said.

"What! Oh no I hope he doesnt, but then he doesnt even know who I am. Well he does but he only ever takes the mick, and tries to wind me up. This is so hopeless. I wish I didn't feel like this." I sighed.

"whoa where did that all come from? stop putting yourself down. You never know..." She winked at me.

"What??" but just before she got to amswer everyone started singing and we were dragged apart as everyone started doing gangnam style.

 As it got later my feet started to ache and my head was pounding. So slipped of my heels and made my way to the end of the garden where there was a little patio with a small white swing seat on. I sat down and swung myslef gentley. The wood was cold against my skin but I didn't mind, it was refreshing. Before I knew it the rythmic swinging had slowly lulled me to sleep.

I was woken up by the feeling of something being placed over me. I blinked a couple of times before focusing on a pair of beautiful grey eyes. Suddenly shy I sat myself up and tried to speak.

"I....umm...i....what time is it?" I settled for not very smothly. Leo chuckled at me an dmy stuttering.

"Its 11, I got a bit board of the music so thought I would come and get some peace. Then I saw you and I thought you looked cold so I put my jacket over you. I didn't mean to wake you sorry." He looked down at his feet seeming slightly embarassed. No he has no reason to be embarassed.

"Oh okay, dont worry I need to get home by 11:30 any way so thanks I guess." I said quietly.

"So do you mind if I sit with you??" He asked.

"I guess not, just dont be to annoying" I teased him.

"Oh someones a little grumpy when their naps get cut short." He had the bigest smirk on his face.

"Pfffftt" I pouted at him at the same time as putting my leggs up on the seat so he could no longer sit down. But no it didn't stop him he simply lifted my legs up and place them on his lap once he was sat donw. I was suddenly very appreciative of the fact I had remembered to shave my leggs.

"Don't do that." He looked straight at me as he spoke.

"Do what? I can do what I want its nothing to do with you!" I demanded an answer.

"Ruin your pretty face with a frown." He smiled openly.

"Wha.." I was cutt of as he reached his had out and cupped my cheek. My heart stopped beating. What was happening? What has he doing? He started to get closer to me. And just as our lips were about to touch he spoke agian.

"Come on everyone will be wondering where we are." He stood and started to walk away.

What just happened? He must know I like him. Was he just playing with my feelings?? Or did like me to? No Thats a stupid thought he is just winding me up as normal.
