Chapter 5

Sorry for not updating for ages.

Erics prov

I had to get out of there I coudn't stand it. To see her fall for all of his lies. To see her look at him with her inocent eyes and them to be filled with love. It was just wrong. If only she knew what I knew. 

As soon as she had agreed to be his girl I heard his thoughts. I mean they were so loud how couldn't I.

"Yes Finally, Now  I have her I can destroy her." His words ran through my head. How could he. He was just using. If only she knew. But how could she. It would be to upsetting if she new the truth about her family and about her friends.

No I coudn't tell her. I wouldn't be the one to do that. I would just have to look after her. Keep watch without her knowing. I know it sounds creepy but it had to be done. It was the only way I could keep her safe. 

I need to apologise to her. Otherwise I wouldn't never have a chance at keeping her safe as she wouldn't even become my friend. God I am an idiot, I might have blown it. I just hope she forgives me. Anger was filling inside me as I thought of the fact I could have just ruined everything.

I need to go for a run. Its the only way I am going to be able to release. I headed out of the front doors of the school and into the car park. I quickly walked out of the front gates and into the forest that started across the road.

Haileys pov

I sat tapping my pen against the desk staring at the clock on the wall. School only had ten minutes left but life seemed to be going in slow motion at the moment. Eric never came back to class after lunch so I was stuck In a class full of mouthy year 9s all alone. I wouldn't normally mind as some of them were actaully sweet but today I was juts not in the mood. Hopefully the date Leo and I have planned for tonight will cheer me up. His taking me to dinner and then the cinema. Its going to be the perfect first date. We had been to the cinema before but not like this. This would be different as now we were a couple. It should be an amazing evening. 

Suddenly I was braught straight out of my daydream by the school bell telling me it was time to go home finally. I was slightly annoyed as I had finally managed to get my mind off of erics disapearing act but at least it was closer to the begining of my sure to be amazing date.

"Help Lula, what should I wear???" I shouted in a rushed voice down the phone.

"You look good no matter what you wear. Now I have to go I am going out with dean. So have a great night love you bye" Lula hung up the phone before I had time to answer. It was now 6:25 and Leo was picking me up at half 6. I had to get ready and fast.

I had already straightened my hair and put a bit of make up. Just foundation, mascara to make my eyes pop and some lip gloss. 

I opened my wardrobe and decided to go casual. I put on some tight black skinny jeans, a white lace top, Black leather jacket and some high heal boots. I heard the door ring and rushed downstairs to get to the door quickly.

"Hey Leo" I said whilst opening the door.

"Hey Hail, you look gorgeous." His eyes ran over my frame and stopped on my lips.

My lips flushed with heat as I started to blush. I took the time to look him over. He was wearing a tight  White t-shirt and dark jeans. He look good to say the least.

" Come on stop cheacking me out its time to leave." A smirk grew on his face as he caught me out.

" Okay let me just grab my keys or I want be able to get back in tonight." I poped into the kitchen grabbed my bag with my keys in and returned to Leo in the hallway.

"You in all alone at the moment?" He questioned on the way out the door.

"Yh moms still away with work until next week." I replied. My mom did everything to try and make it so we could live comfortable but sometimes I wish she would realise that I don't mind, I would rather spend time with her than have the new gucci handbag. Though it is absoulte gorgeous. I must save up money to buy it.

"Hello earth to Hailey... we need to get going" Leo said whilst poking me in the arm.

"Opps sorry lets go"
