The group stands outside, the fresh air a welcome relief after their ordeal with Shang Tsung. They take a moment to catch their breath and collect their thoughts. Y/N, in the midst of the discussion, voices his confusion about the situation.

Y/N: So Liu Kang is a fire god and has the power to manipulate time? And he's the one who shaped this timeline we're in?

The others nod in agreement, their expressions reflecting the weight of Y/N's words.

Kung Lao: That's correct. Liu Kang is the one responsible for the current state of our world.

Johnny adds, his voice tinged with a mix of awe and disbelief.

Johnny: He essentially rewrote reality, creating this timeline.

Y/N takes in the information, processing it. His face is a mixture of both fascination and concern.

Y/N: So... he remade the entire universe, and we're living in it now? It's just... a lot to take in.

Kung Lao: The only thing that matters right now is getting kenshi to the portal in sun do!

Baraka: I'll take you to the gates of sun do! That's as far as I can go since they don't allow tarkatan's in.

Reptile: I will go with you all the rest of the way. It's the least I can do to make amends....

Kung Lao's words bring the discussion back to the immediate issue at hand - getting Kenshi to safety. Baraka, ever loyal to the group, volunteers to lead them as far as the gates of Sun Do. Reptile's offer surprises Y/N slightly. It's clear that the reptilian warrior feels a deep sense of guilt and seeks redemption. Y/N nods, understanding the sincerity of Reptile's gesture.

Y/N: Alright. Lead the way, Baraka.

The group follows Baraka as he leads them towards the gates of Sun Do. The journey is quiet, each member lost in their own thoughts about the revelations they've learned about Shang Tsung while Y/N's mind was on about Liu Kang and this new timeline he created.

Y/N: I can't believe this..... I'm actually working with earthrealmers behind my mother's back...... this is- crazy.

Johnny, having overheard Y/N's mutter, gives him a reassuring pat on the back.

Johnny: Crazy is an understatement, man. But hey, you're doing the right thing, ya know?

Y/N: Yeah... you're right. I'm just glad you all told me why you were stopping Shang tsung from curing my sister but now I know- it was all a misunderstanding. But in truth- Milenna has tarkat which- you all know....

Johnny and the others nod in agreement, understanding the gravity of Mileena's condition. The news is heavy on all of them, and the air is thick with concern.

Kung Lao: It's a devastating revelation about Mileena. But at least you understand why we had to confront Shang Tsung now.

Y/N: Yeah..... so- kenshi...... how did you lose your sight....?

Johnny: It was....... Milenna in her tarkat form....

Y/N's eyes widen slightly as he sighed and shook his head.

Y/N: I'm sorry kenshi.... my sister wasn't herself.

Kenshi, still being supported by Johnny and Kung Lao, listens to the conversation quietly. The mention of being blinded by Mileena causes him some obvious pain, but he remains stoic.

Kenshi: I know.... it wasn't your fault, Y/N. You have nothing to apologize for. Mileena's actions were driven by the disease, not by her own will.

Y/N gazes at Kenshi, his heart heavy. Despite the reassurances, Y/N can't help but feel a pang of guilt for his sister's actions.
