Part 14

(Summer is over)

 Summer is over and today is the first day of the fall semester, Dontae said we had a hard summer, but we got through it, I told him we move forward, I kissed him we got out of the car, why was that bitch ass Carlos walking towards us, he's the last person I wanted to see.

 He walked up to us and said he hasn't seen me all summer, or Jake, I looked at Dontae he said do it, I turned around and punched Carlos in the face, he said what the fuck, your bitch ass has been smiling in my face knowing you and Jake were fucking, we broke up. By the way Jake doesn't have what you've been spreading around, I heard a few people in the crowd saying the rumors are true, Carlos is going around spreading HIV.

 He got up and said no matter what I do to him he still had my man, and keep an eye on Dontae, I started to punch his ass again, Dontae stopped me, and he punched Carlos, he ran off. Patty, a friend of Dontae's said she's glad to see us, and she's sorry about Jake and I breaking up, I told her no need I moved on and took Dontae by the hand, she said she can see that, it's about time Dontae told me how he felt about me. She said she spent the summer in Paris with her mother, Dontae has to feel her in on what's been going on here, and when did he finally tell me he's in love with me, he told her they have a lot to catch up on.

We went to class, Patty sat with us, after our second class was over, we had lunch together, and Dontae gave her our address and told her to come by and see us, I told her she can have dinner with us tonight if she's available, she said she is. I told her good around six, she said she'll be there, she said she'll see us later and left, I asked Dontae he didn't mind me asking Patty did he, bae said no he was going to ask her anyway, great minds think alike he kissed me, this is the first time we did that in public, and I didn't care who saw us.

 Dontae asked what we are going to feed Patty, I told him I didn't think of that, he said we can order a pizza, I told him we can do better than that.

I called gran and told her I need her help; she asked what I did this time, gran you act like I'm always doing something, she said Dontae calls her and tells her how I mixed the colors when I did the wash, and what about the time I locked myself out of the apartment in my underwear, and, I cut her off and told her I got it, gran sometimes I mess up. I told her I invited one of Dontae's friends over for dinner, she said say no more, come over later and she'll have something for us, I told gran thanks, I'll see her later, love her, she said love us too, I hung up.

Bae asked what gran said, I told him she's got us, we just have to stop over and get the food, he said good ole gran is always there for us, I told him to stop calling gran and telling her things about me. I don't call his mom and tell her he doesn't wear all those new underwear she buys him, and he freeballs and that he wears thongs.

He said remember gran found out about the thongs, and he's sure his mom knows since they're friends now that we made it official that we're together, I said yeah gran told her. We went to our last class and afterwards we went to grans house, a car is in the driveway, we went into the house, we didn't see gran, Dontae said I don't suppose gran is upstairs killing another man do I.

I said stop it, but I was wondering the same thing, should we go upstairs, we heard laughter coming from the back we went out there and gran and this man are in her flower garden, the man said he doesn't think she'll have any more problems with insects on her roses, gran told him I'm coming over later so he can come back after I leave, and she'll suck him while he eats her kitty, I looked at Dontae.

 Gran walked the man to the front, Dontae said gran is a freak, I told him to stop that's my grandmother, we heard hey you two, we jumped and turned around, gran said she saw my car out front, how long have we been here, Dontae said we just got here. I asked gran whose car is that out front, she said just a friend helping her with her roses, she told us to come in the kitchen she has our dinner, all we have to do is warm it up.
