As the days count down, and the minutes are sparse, I could not wish for anything more.
For having you in my arms, and getting to kiss you goodnight is enough for me.
As those around us panic and scream, we lay holding each other, ready to embrace death with open arms.
For preventing death is impossible, we do not fight it.
We welcome it, we allow ourselves to go back to where we came from.
And if our souls are lost forever, at least I spent my last days, with you.
