As the land in the distance distorts from the fires burning below, I turn to you and smile.
The skies may be falling, and our time may be scarce, but with you here, I am not afraid.
This may be the end, and we may never meet again.
There could be no heaven to be welcomed to.
We may never know, for there might be no we, where we are going.
But I do know that my time here was spent well, because it was spent with you.
Our laughter, our tears, our smiles, and our love for one another may never be carried on.
But just because nobody remembers it, doesnt mean it didn't happen.
Our memories could be lost forever, as well as our souls.
So In our last moments, I will hold your hands as tears pour down our faces.
I will hug you as fires rage below.
I will kiss you as the sky falls on our heads.
And in my last moments, our last moments, I will think of you.
