Meant To Be

Chapter 1 - The Idea

<Olly P.O.V>

It was love and heartbreak week tonight on X Factor and Caroline and I were told we needed to do a small scene of something behind a screen that showed our silhouettes to the audience. We were sat in our dressing room discussing ideas.

"Do you think it should be something flirty?" I asked.

"Well it is Love and Heartbreak week so I guess so." Caroline replied. "What about a quick kiss?" she suggested.

I made it look like I had to think about it but really I immediately knew my answer as soon as she asked. I've fancied Cazza for ages now and always wanted to have something more with her but I just keep trying to find the right time to talk about our relationship. 

"I don't mind as long as you want to, it'll certainly be something for the fans!" I said, almost straight away. Caroline looked please that I'd agreed, I was as well!

"Okay then, sorted! I wonder what the fans reactions will be like?!" I was so happy that Caroline suggested the idea; it made me wonder whether she maybe wanted the same as me. We both know that everybody have wanted us to get together since we both started on Xtra and, to be honest, so have I! 

<Caroline P.O.V.>

I was so happy that Olly had agreed to my idea, maybe this could be the start of something between us! Since seeing Olly on X Factor in 2009 I'd really fancied him, and I was so happy when we both got the job on Xtra! In the first few months I kind of hoped that something would happen between us but it never did. We do flirt with each other a lot on and off the show, but it's never come to anything. Perhaps tonight it would!

Excited for tonights show I turned to the mirror and started to plan what to do with my hair. I looked at Olly in the reflection, he was clearly thinking happy thoughts as he had a cute smile across his face. 

"What you thinking about?" I asked.

"Huh?" Olly replied, clearly woken from his daydream.

"You were daydreaming! What were you thinking about?"

"Oh nothing much." He tried to dismiss the subject. With this I turned round and stared at him. "What?!" He exclaimed after realising I was looking at him expecting more.

"What were you thinking about?! It was clearly something with that smile across your face!"

"It was nothing! I was just in my own little Olly world!"

"Thats cute!" I replied, turning back to the mirror, thinking about what could happen later on tonight.
