Firstly, I would like to say sorry for not updating in AGES but I finally have! And also, I know the dates of this is wrong (by a year) but imagine this was all happening this year into next year! Happy reading :)
*Final of X Factor 2013*
<Olly's P.O.V>
Finally it was the end of another amazing series of Xtra and I really didn't want it to end! Caroline and I have been together for over a year now and things were going so well for us. We both knew that I wouldn't be able to present the show again next year because I was so busy touring and visiting my fans across the globe. But we weren't going to tell the public this yet and Caroline hadn't even decided if she wanted to do the show next year anyway.
Trying not to think of tonight being our last show together, we celebrated with the winner of X Factor 2013, had fun and games with the judges and starting drinking before the show had even finished! It wasn't until it came to the end when I started thanking the producers, judges, Dermot and of course Caroline, that it suddenly hit me that this would be the last time. Even though I had my whole future ahead of me with my music and my life with Caroline, I couldn't help but feel sad that I would be letting Xtra go. It was the place, after all, that kick-started my entire career; the building that was like a second home to me; the show that allowed me to meet the girl of my dreams.
As everyone celebrated another great year of a fantastic show, I couldn't help but feel down. I felt Caroline grab my hand which brought me out of my thoughts and my concentration back to the party which was only just starting. I gave Caroline a kiss on the cheek and shook hands with all the team before heading back to the dressing room with Caroline. I wanted some alone time before being crowded with even more people.

I could tell Olly was feeling a bit low, considering it was his last show on Xtra I'm not surprised! As the atmosphere in the room switched from work to party, I took Olly's hand in mine and turned him to face me with a reassuring smile on my face. He lent down to kiss me on the cheek and led me back to our shared dressing room.
He opened the door for me once we were there and I let go of his hand so I could go and sit myself down on the sofa. He came and joined me and I immediately cuddled up to him, always wanting to be as close as possible.
"Are you okay?" I asked him while leaning my head on his shoulder.
"I think so. I'm just a bit sad that it's all come to an end, you know?" he replied giving me a kiss on the head as if for reassurance that he was okay. "How about you?"
"I'm alright I guess, I still don't know whether to do the show next year or not. I don't want to do it without my amazing boyfriend by my side every step of the way." I looked up at Olly to see a tear start to form in his eye, I hated seeing him upset, however rare it was. "Hey, don't be sad, we have our whole lives ahead of us! We can do whatever we want to do as long as we're together!"
"But that's the whole point! We're not going to be together next year whatever we decide to do! Whether you do Xtra or not, I'll rarely be in the country! I'm travelling across the world so much next year already and I don't know how I'll be able to cope without you by my side!"
"We'll work it out as it comes, I promise. Nothing can break us apart, not while I love you as much as I do! Let's just see what next year brings, anything can happen! Now, let's just go and enjoy tonight, party with our friends and get hammered!" I joked in an attempt to cheer him up. A smile slowly spread across his face until he let out a slight laugh.
"Come on then, I need to get changed out this suit before we can go anywhere!" Olly said. He kissed me on the lips before standing up and going to find a shirt to wear to the club. I followed to pick up my dress that was hung up on the back of the bathroom door.

It wasn't long until we were both changed and ready to go to the club. Caroline and I met the rest of the crew just inside the entrance then we all set off in multiple taxis to the club. When we arrived we could hear the music blasting out the speakers; ironically it was a more up-beat version on Troublemaker. I heard Caroline's dirty laugh from behind me and turned round to find her laughing with her stylist and make up artist.
"What you laughing at?!" I asked them, even though I already knew the answer.
"Oh, just this awful song they're playing, you heard it before?" Caroline replied sarcastically.
"You are so rude!" I said as we entered the private room we had booked. There were Red and Black balloons everywhere and a karaoke machine was set up. There was already a crowd around the small bar in the corner and I took Caroline's hand so she didn't get lost on the way to find a seat.
Together, we sat down in a booth, next to each other at the end of the table, and Dermot brought us some drinks over and took a seat himself.
"It's been such a great show this year, hasn't it?" Dermot asked us.
"It has" we both agreed.
"And I think the right person won"
"Definitely!" we agreed again.
"Do you both say everything at the same time?"
"No!" we exclaimed together. We all started laughing when the song changed in the room to a slower song. It was Boyce Avenue's cover of Use Somebody Dermot and Dee stood up and headed to the dance floor. I turned to look at Caroline to see her looking back at me, smiling.
"It's our song!" she exclaimed.
"I know! Care to dance?" I asked while standing up.
"Of course!" Caroline replied while standing up and taking my hand.
We headed over to the dance floor and began swaying slowly on the spot; my hands gently holding Caroline's waist while her hands wrapped around my neck. She looked up at me with her gorgeous smile and I felt content, like I had everything I ever wanted in my arms.
"I love you" I whispered in her ear.
"I love you too" she replied as she rested her head on my chest.
"You know, whatever life throws at us we'll get through it together, take challenges on as a team. I don't know what I'd do without you, I can't remember my life without you in it." Carefully, I felt for the small box in my trouser pocket, checking it was still there. "Because I love you so much Caroline, and I don't think I could function without you in my life. Your beautiful smile, your dirty laugh. They way you always laugh at jokes I've told hundreds of times before and the morning kisses we share each day are the best. I never want to be without you Caroline."
I slowly stepped away from her and pulled the small box out of my pocket. By this time the music had become quieter and I could feel eyes watching me from all angles, watching this hopefully happy moment. Caroline looked in complete shock as I got down on one knee.
"Now, so that I never have to be without you wherever I am in the world, will you, Caroline Louise Flack, marry me?"
By this time Caroline had tears running down her cheeks and so did most of the other women in the room.
"Yes, yes, yes! A million times yes! Of course I'll marry you!" she exclaimed jumping into my arms as a tear of happiness slipped down my cheek. An eruption of "Awh's" and applause came from the watching crowd as I gently pushed the ring onto Caroline's finger.
"I love you so much." she whispered in my ear as she hugged me again.
"I love you too" I replied before I gently kissed her. The music started up again and everyone resumed their dancing. I reached to the table nearest us where 2 full champagne glasses where sat on a tray. I picked them both up and passed one to Caroline.
"To the start of our lives together!" I exclaimed, lifting my glass into the air.
"To the start of our lives together!" Caroline repeated, clinking our glasses together.
As we drank, danced and celebrated the night away, my sadness from earlier on had completely vanished. Instead replaced by my happiness and the excitement I had for the life I had waiting ahead of me.
