Meant To Be

Chapter 4 - Messy Hotel Room

<Caroline P.O.V>

We were walking down the road, hand in hand, and there was hardly anybody around as it was so late at night. It was quite cold out but didn't have a jacket with me. Olly must have noticed me shivering as he stopped suddenly to take off his coat and wrapped it round my shoulders. I snuggled into it, breathing in the smell of him. We carried on walking along the road still hand in hand and it wasn't long until we reached the hotel. As we walked through the entrance, the warmth of the building surrounded us, immediately warming me up, but I kept Olly's coat on anyway. The lift was out of action so we had no choice but to take the stairs. By this time my heels had started to rub so I stopped at the bottom of the stairs to take them off. Noticing I'd stopped, Olly turned round and suddenly scooped me up in his arms before carrying me up the stairs. I couldn't hold back the giggles! It felt so right to be like this with him; I had no idea why we hadn't done it before now!

Once we got to Olly's hotel room he put me back on the ground and took out the key to his room. He led me inside and switched on the light, all his stuff was scattered across the room, there was so much you couldn't see the floor!

"Ols! Have you actually unpacked at all?!" I asked him.

"Yes! See, my bags empty!" He replied holding this bag upside down but laughing at the same time.

"You've just tipped it out across the room! How can you find anything in here?!"

"Because I put it there! Now... where's my wash bag?" I just laughed and pushed Olly down onto the bed playfully.

"Hey!" he exclaimed before pulling me down with him. We lay there for a few minutes just laughing at Olly's cheesy jokes until we fell into silence. 

<Olly P.O.V>

We lay next to each other on my bed while Caroline laughed at my jokes. Eventually we fell into silence and I turned towards her, looking deep into her eyes. Not being able to resist the temptation, I leant forward and kissed her softly on the lips. As I pulled away she looked at me and without saying a word, we both knew what was going to happen next. I leant in again giving her a more passionate kiss and it lasted for a few minutes, getting more heated as it went on.
