Devil Zone Zero ( DMC x ZZZ )

Prologue

Year 2028

All of Nero's life he's wondered who his father was and where he went. Well he found his answer about a year ago when Vergil a.k.a. his father or as his uncle Dante likes to call him blue coated bastard decided to come rip his arm off and raise the Qliphoth tree to gain more power. But in the end, the tree was cut down by Vergil and Dante in the underworld after Nero fought a battle worn Vergil in his newly awakened Devil trigger. Vergil gave Nero his poetry book stating " I won't lose next time. Hold onto that until then." And Dante decided to speak at that moment. " Hey kid since I'm probably not going to be around for a little while since I'm keeping an eye on your old man, I want you to take my Devil arms for safe keeping and I want you to run my shop." While passing him all of his Devil arms besides his twin guns and his sword. " Adios Nero " Fante said while jumping into the underworld with Vergil.

Ever since then Nero has been killing all of the demons that escape from the underworld while living with Kyrie and the kids. He's finally happy but all of that is going to change.

Nero POV

I was riding Cavaliere on my way back from a job across town when I got a call from Kyrie.

" Nero are you almost home?" Kyrie asked me.
" I'm almost home Kyrie. How are the kids doing?" I asked her.
" They're doing Al-" suddenly she was cutoff and all I heard her do was scream.
" Kyrie! Kyrie! Answer me Dammit!" I felt my heart pounding in my chest. What if she's in danger, what if the kids are in danger. I throttled cavaliere to the max going easily past 100 mph. I made it home within 5 minutes.

" Kyrie are you okay? Kyrie?" I was screaming at this point.
" There is no point in screaming descendant of Sparda for your loved one is already taking her last breaths. For I am Paradox the slayer of the last descendant of Sparda!" The demon standing in front of me stated.
" Fuck you!" I just punched his ass out of my house and threw the neighbors.
I got down to Kyrie's level praying that she was still alive.
"Nero. Nero it's okay don't blame yourself for my death." Kyrie spoke barely above a whisper.
" Don't talk like that! I'm going to get you to hospital. " I stare firmly.
" There's not enough time. It's okay Nero it's my time to go. I want you to move on don't be tied down to me. Live your life to the fullest. I'll tell my brother you said hello. Remember Nero I'll always love you." Kyrie said taking her last breath.
I felt my anger consume me to the point where my Devil trigger activated unconsciously.

This random ass demon thinks that he'll get away with killing Kyrie. Over my dead body.

Paradox jumped back through the hole he caused and laughed like the little bitch he is.
" Their blood was delicious and soon I'll have yours to reopen a portal to the underworld."
" Fuck you" I jumped at him while raising red queen in an attempt at killing this fucking demon but he jumped out of the way and kicked me through a wall.
" You're pathetic. You are no descendant of Sparda." Paradox stated while walking over to me.
" You piece of shit. I'm going to kill you!" I shot at him with blue rose up ready to fire. I squeezed the trigger and hit him square in the leg knocking him down. After I stabbed him through the chest while revving red queen slowly burning him in the process.
" If I'm going to die then I'm the last descendant of Sparda with me!" He screamed at me while opening a portal. The portal was sucking both of us in but I stabbed red queen into the ground hoping that it'll close. But that damn bastard of demon caught me by the leg and was dragging me into the portal. My Devil trigger deactivated and I had no choice but to take red queen out of the ground to kill this bastard. I have know clue where this portal leads but knowing my luck it's nowhere good. As I fell into the portal I saw Paradox being disintegrated into particles flowing into the portal. I fell and all I saw was the whole rainbow of colors flow past me at a fast pace. I don't know where I'm going to pop out but I'm ready for anything.
" Bring it Bitch!"

A/N: This is my first chapter ever let me know how I did.

Now comes the fun part, you the reader gets to choose where Nero will land in New Eridu.

He can either
A. Follow the plot of the game and land in the same hollow as Anby and Billy
Or
B. Land in a different hollow and meet some other interesting people
Or
C. Land in a random hollow and then go into New Eridu.

It's up to you.
