When Jeongguk thought Jimin would be staying a 'while' he didn't imagine it to be this long of a 'while'.It was currently midnight, and the crowd outside was as flamboyant as ever. Jeongguk was just glad that his apartment was soundproof- he couldn't hear any of the ruckus outside and that was one of the only things giving him peace of mind.
On the other hand, it also meant that there was still nowhere for Jimin to go. Granted, the boy hadn't really been much of a disturbance for the past few hours after the cacophony he brought in initially, and had now seemed to settle down, not pestering Jeongguk. Since his acquaintance with Bam, the dog was almost heaven-sent in Jeongguk's eyes, now taking up all of he singer's attention. It meant Jeongguk was now able to actually unwind like he'd been wanting to since football practice, and he needed the alone time. Despite that, every now and then, he found his eyes straying from his copy of 'Pride and Prejudice' and scan over the stranger in his apartment.
He told himself it was normal, that he would glance over so often, because who wouldn't? He obviously had to make sure that Jimin wasn't up to any mischief, and that his dog was okay, obviously the only reasons he kept checking. So when he glanced over for the nth time that night, eyes leaving his book and Lady Catherine de Bourgh's antics, he had to double take when he didn't spot neither Park Jimin, nor his dog, splayed on the sofa watching television.
"Bunny," a small mumble came from above him.
Jeongguk's head snapped up to the voice from the comfort of his floor bed, only to find the black-haired by his side, looking down at him with wary eyes. Bam was tucked in his arms safely- a strange sight, as his doberman was not exactly a small puppy but rather a fully grown dog- with his face nestled into the crook of Jimin's neck, tail still swaying back and forth in bliss.
The footballer narrowed his eyes at the dog.
Traitor.
"What?" he answered, looking up at the starboy. His eyes strayed from the other's, darting over his face and then past it, down his neck and-
"Why didn't you say anything?!" he exclaimed.
Jimin looked taken aback. He glanced down to where Jeongguk was looking, eyebrows knitted together in confusion. "What do you mean?" he queried, meeting the younger's wide eyes.
"I completely forgot to give you a top!" he replied, discarding his book to the side and moving to stand. "Did you not think to remind me, maybe?"
Jimin's confused face morphed into one of understanding as his pretty lips formed an 'o', then nodding. "Oh. I thought you just wanted me shirtless."
Jeongguk blinked. Again. He couldn't be serious right now?
"I mean, who would wanna cover this?" he smirked, doing a little twirl, still mindful of the dog in his arms so to not wake him. "If I were you, I'd do the same," he shrugged.
