finding the boat

i wake up from jj yelling at john b for waking him and john b walking around the house making the floors creak. "you can go back to bed if you want" jj says. "no im good". jj and john b walk outside to check out the damage done by Hurricane Agatha and i go into the bathroom. it was better than i expected but still in need of a cleaning. the sink and shower had old rust on it and their toothbrushs looked 4 years old. once i had gone to the bathroom and changed into a bikini i went outside.

 "we are going to go pick everyone up and go into the marsh for the day" john b tells me. "ok thats fine" we pushed the boat into the water and climbed in. we past a couple of houses who were also checking out the damage and moving trees till we got to the heywards. "pope lets go" "i gotta stay here and work dads been on me about it" "you know your dad is pussy over" jj says "make a run for it"john b tells him. pope drops his stuff and hops into the baot as his dad yells at him about his punishment. then we pulled up to kies. "oh we have a new member" "just until my parents come back" i say. "you should contuine to hangout with us, its better than hanging out with the kooks trust me i know" kie tells me. "yea we will see". 

jj grabs me a beer and sits beside me. he puts his arm around my waist playing with the tie of my swimsuit bottoms. "i dont think you will miss sarah cameron anymore" kie says "or topper" jj says. i tune them out and take in the sound of the water going aganist the boat engine. "wanna do a party trick" jj asks "sure" "jj this never works" john b says "it will trust" he grabs my hands and we go to the top of the boat and stand on it. "hit it pope" jj starts trying to pour the beer in his mouth and so do i. i mostly made it in my mouth but his was going everywhere and all over kie. "your getting beer in my hair" kie yells. then jj and i flip off the boat. under water we crash together my feet hitting his head. i swim back up to the top sore. "yall ok" "we good" he says. "guys there is a boat down" pope says "no way" "yes there is" he says. jj and me start swimmming underwater as the rest jump in swimming down with us. when we got up to the water we all started yelling about it being a grady white. 

"we need to tell someone we could get a finders fee" "or we could go inversitaget" "it looks like the boat from last night" i tell john b "yeah it does" "where did yall go" jj asks "we surfed the surge" he gives john b a high five but looks at me dissapproving. "dont do stuff like that again" he tells me "oh jj im better at surfing than you" "its true she is really good" "ill be the judge of that tonight" 

we decided to go to the marine lobby but they kept dismising us so we just decided to go back down to the marsh and look down their again. "who voulnteers themseleves not you em" jj says. "ill do it" john b says. "down for it" 

john b jumps off the boat and swims down there. we all look over the edge of the boat and wait for him to come up. after about 1 mintute he comes up with a motel key. "you did not use your time wisley a motel key isnt going to help us" jj says "whatever lets just go down there" John B says 

"yall stay here and be a look out" john b says. :ok be careful" kie syas and kisses john b on the cheek. both me and pope open our eyes wide. once they walk away i say "so whats going on there" "we are friends" she says "you dont kiss me and we are friends" pope says "well whats going on with you and jj he is constantly flirting with you" kie says. :before we even knew you he was talking about you and now you are here" "well i just broke up with topper and he is really my only other friend on the island" i tell them. "why did you break up with topper" pope asks" he was cheating on me with sarah" i tell him "see this is why its better to not have a relationship, there are too many things to deal with" pope says. "its just like having a best friend of the opposite gender, except apparently i wasn't toppers best friend" i say. "oh shit there are cops" "i can call him" i say "the towers are down" "shit um come on" we crouch down and run towards the side of the building. i start trying to throw rocks at the window but miss horribly. then kie throws a rock there and hit it perfectly. john b and jj see us motioning towards the door and the scramble before hopping outside the window onto the ledge as the cops search the house. we run back to the boat and try and act natural. then jj drops something and we look and see it's a gun. the cops look out the window at us but we just still act like we are talking about something. after the cops leave john and jj come back to the boat.
