Today was the day, the day I told Lauren that I had "broken up" with Rebecca. I don't know if she will believe me or not. Lisa told me Lauren said she would be prepared to fight for me so she may think its a bit convenient that me and Rebecca were no longer together but I had to convince her
I arrived at her apartment she shared with her American friends.
"Hi" she said as she opened the door and gestured me inside
"Hello"
"you okay?"
"yeah I'm fine you"
"do you wanna drink?" she asked
"err no thanks I just wanted to say me and Rebecca have split"
"why"
"I don't know really I guess we just wanted different things"
"you two seemed okay at the cinema last night"
"yeah we decided last night"
"are you sure there was nothing more to it than that"
"um er n-no" I stuttered
"okay now I know your not telling me the truth"
"I am honestly"
"brad I know you your shaking just tell me the truth" she said as she rested her arm on my shoulder

"Brad you can! what happened to the promise you were going on about the other day!"
"I lied to you, we all did"
"wha-what do you mean "
"I was never with Rebecca in the first place, it was an act" I said sighing
"you said you met a girl"
"I know well I guess it was my way of telling you I like you, by pretending I didn't care"
"who else knew about this"
"me, Rebecca Eleanor..."I said
"and Lisa" I muttered quietly
"Lisa?"
"I'm sorry, she came up with the idea"
" I can't believe I've been betrayed by both my sister and my former best friend"

"well what do you expect me to say?"
"I don't know why I lied but the truth is I've been in love for you for 9 years you mean the world to me, it broke my heart when you left, I know it wasn't your choice but I missed you so much please give me a chance to prove that I love you, you're everything to me"
