⛵One Piece Community Issue about a Certain Ship⛵

*I'm just going to rant about this problem here because its been bugging me for a while now*

I been running into a fight between ships in this fandom and of course everyone have the right to ship any character they want with whoever they want but I am just going to point out a few things about this particular ship that people just need to realize.

The ship I am going to talk about is Lawlu. Now I don't ship this ship personally but I do find this ship kind of cute and funny but I'm getting off topic. I have ran into people who have not only been giving people hate about this ship but also been making people feel bad and horrible about shipping these two characters together.

Another reason why I have an issue about it is because I have run into post that have been mentally attacking those who do ship it and even though I personally don't ship it as I see luffy not being in a relationship at all, I do find some of the lawlu art/comics cute or funny when I run into them and there are some good fanfiction about this ship too.

This is one of those ships that I don't really care about but if I find motivation, time, and if I really care about making a book about it then I might make it into a fan fiction. That is if I really care about doing it because again I see Luffy not falling in love with anyone. To me he kind of a lone wolf type person when it comes to relationships.

Now here are some of the arguments that I have seen about this ship.

1. The age gap. Law is 26 years old while Luffy is 19. That is a 7 year age gap. That not bad when you look at the cannon ship age gap. Boa is 30 years old while luffy is 19. That is a 11 year age gap.

2. I see them as brothers. Now that fine. There nothing wrong with that but don't give people hate just because some people see them more then just brothers by bond.

3. How they first met. Luffy was 17 when he first met Law and Law was 24. People need to realize that Luffy have also met Boa when he was 17 too and she was 28 years old.

4. How the ship started. People started shipping Lawlu after there alliance and that was when Luffy was 19 and Law was 26.

5. I don't see Luffy dating anyone. That fine but please don't make people feel horrible about themselves just because they see Luffy having a relationship with someone.

6. I ship Luffy with someone else. That fine too but like I said don't make people feel horrible about themselves just because they ship Luffy with someone else.

My question is why can't people just mind there own business? Yes people know Luffy isn't gay but a lot of fandom characters aren't gay and does that stop us from shipping them with other people? No it does not. I mean I ship Zosan and we all know Sanji isn't gay or Bi but that doesn't stop people shipping him with Zoro or even Ace.

I also know there are way worse ships out there so please just mind your business and don't make people feel horrible about themselves just because they ship these two characters together. It just pissed me off when this happens and I remember when there was a huge shipping war in the my hero academy fandom.
