The tension in the air was palpable as Ruhi's words echoed through the room. Rohit stood there, a mix of anger and sadness on his face. Dadi looked pleadingly at him, while Abhira stepped forward, determined to mend the rift.
"Rohit," Abhira began softly, her voice steady, "I understand your pain and anger, but please, reconsider your decision. Family is everything, and leaving them will only create more sorrow."
Rohit shook his head. "Bhabhi, you don't understand. The betrayal I feel... it's too much to bear."
Abhira took a deep breath, trying to maintain her composure. "I know it's hard, but holding onto this anger will only hurt you more. Armaan is your brother. He loves you, despite everything."
Rohit turned away, unwilling to meet her gaze. "He might love me, but he has caused so much pain."
Vidya, standing nearby, looked conflicted. Abhira turned to her, her eyes pleading. "Maa, you know how much Armaan cares for everyone. Please, support him in this. He needs you now more than ever."
Vidya shook her head, tears welling up in her eyes. "I can't, Abhira", she told remembering Dadi sa's words.
Armaan, standing in the doorway, felt his heart shatter at Vidya's words. He had hoped for her support, but her denial was too much to bear. He turned and walked out of the room, his steps heavy with despair.
"Armaan!" Abhira called after him, but he didn't stop. Panic gripped her as she saw him leaving the house. She hurried after him, ignoring the calls from the family behind her.
Outside, Armaan was standing by the gate, his shoulders slumped in defeat. Abhira rushed to him, placing a hand on his arm. "Armaan, don't leave like this. We can fix this, together."
He turned to her, his eyes filled with pain. "How, Abhira? How can we fix this when even our family doesn't believe in us?"
She stepped closer, her eyes full of determination. "We believe in each other. That's what matters. We can't give up now."
Armaan shook his head. "I don't know if I can face them again."
Abhira cupped his face in her hands, forcing him to look at her. "Listen to me. You are not alone. I am with you, every step of the way. We will find a way to make things right."
He looked at her, seeing the unwavering love and support in her eyes. Slowly, he nodded. "Okay. But we need time, away from all this."
Abhira nodded, understanding. "Let's go then. We'll take some time for ourselves, and then come back stronger."
Together, they walked away from the house, leaving behind the turmoil and heartache. They needed to find their strength and unity before they could face the challenges ahead. As they stepped into the unknown, they knew that as long as they had each other, they could overcome anything.
Abhira and Armaan walked hand in hand, the tension of the past days slowly easing as they approached a quaint house on the outskirts of the city. It was a modest yet charming home, filled with memories and love – Shivani, Armaan's real mother, had lived here. Abhira had stayed here with Madhav when things had become unbearable at the Poddar Mansion.
As soon as they entered the house, Armaan felt an inexplicable comfort and relief wash over him. The house had a serene aura, a warmth that contrasted starkly with the coldness he often felt at the Poddar Mansion.
"This place feels different," Armaan murmured, looking around.
Abhira smiled, guiding him to a small room adorned with soft colors and simple furniture. She reached for a diary on the table and handed it to Armaan. "This is your mother's diary," she said gently. "She wrote about her hopes and dreams, especially when she was pregnant with you."
Armaan took the diary, his fingers trembling slightly as he opened it. The first page had a beautiful sketch of a mother holding her baby, a tender and loving depiction of Shivani's dreams for him. Tears welled up in his eyes as he turned the pages, reading her thoughts, feeling her love.
"She loved you so much, Armaan," Abhira said, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder. "She's always with you, blessing you."
Armaan nodded, wiping his tears. "I never felt this kind of peace before. Thank you for bringing me here, Abhira."
The next day, Armaan made a bold decision. He resigned from the Poddar firms, a move that sent shockwaves through the Poddar family. His resignation meant a significant loss for the firm, as he handled many critical cases. While most of the family was stunned, Kaveri Poddar, determined and pragmatic, saw this as an opportunity to push Rohit to become the best lawyer.
Back at Shivani's house, Abhira and Armaan started building a new life. The transition wasn't easy, but the warmth of the house and the memories of his mother gave Armaan strength. He found solace in the garden where Shivani had spent countless hours, and Abhira's unwavering support was his anchor.
One evening, as they sat in the garden, Armaan turned to Abhira. "I want to honor my mother's memory by doing something meaningful," he said.
Abhira smiled, taking his hand in hers. "What do you have in mind?"
"I want to start a legal aid service," he replied. "Something that helps those who can't afford legal representation. It's what Mumma would have wanted – to help others, to make a difference."
Abhira's eyes sparkled with pride. "That's a wonderful idea, Armaan. And I'll be right beside you, every step of the way."
Together, they embarked on this new journey, channeling their love and determination into building a future that honored Shivani's legacy. As they navigated the challenges and triumphs, they knew that they were creating something beautiful – a life filled with love, purpose, and the blessings of a mother's enduring love.
