Movie night

"What outfit should I wear?" I asked my friend while on call with her. Well this is the movies, so you don't wanna be too fancy. I would say maybe the fish nets with a black skirt and top." My friend answered. "Oh that sounds cute! Okay I'll get my outfit on and show you on FaceTime."
I got my outfit on. I wore my fishnets along with a tight-ish black skirt and a black crop top!
"Do you think I should wear a jacket? It might be cold."
"That's optional, you do you! But the movies start soon so I say leave now!! Bye love you." She hung up on the call.

I arrived at the movies and I was waiting for a very long time. Maybe I got all my hopes up for nothing. This was so embarrassing, there's no way I actually thought that he would show up right? Then I saw him walking up to me. "There you are." He said, looking me up and down then looking away. Bryce grabbed my hand and led me inside. We got some popcorn to share and we made our way over to the movie room.  As we sat down, I felt a strong tension. I looked over at Bryce and he looked so annoyed and frustrated.

Did I do something wrong? Maybe I forced him to come over. I'm such a bad person why would I do that? Now he's upset.

As the movie was ending, I felt bad for Bryce. He had to waste time with me, just to sit at the movies. I put my hands in my pockets, I didn't want Bryce to grab my hand. I just wanted to leave him alone so he doesn't get more upset. As I was walking to my car, Bryce pulled me back. "Adeline why are you avoiding me?" He asked. His face looked like it was filled with anger and I didn't like it. "You were annoyed so I didn't wanna make you any more mad or frustrated." I reply back. "What? I'm not mad or annoyed. I just don't feel so good and my head hurts. It's not because of you." He looks down at me, wrapping his hands around my waist. "Well if you felt bad then you didn't have to come. I would've understood." I looked up at him, Bryce brushed my hair back. "I don't care at all if I'm feeling sick, I will always want to spend time with you." He smirked. "Okay." I said. "Do you wanna grab something to eat?" Bryce asks. "Sure." I say.
