Normal AU

Hello lovelies!! I had a different idea for this part but ended up scrapping it. It was going to be a double stalker AU. If you'd like to read that I can make it. Anyways, ON WITH THE SHOW!!!

Nobody's pov~

It was a less busy day in Ninjago for the Ninjas. They had stopped some crime and afterwards, everything had settled down. Kai was scrolling on his phone, his head on Cole's shoulder, when he got an idea.

An ad for a local shelter had popped up showing lots of animals people can adopt and even play with.

"Cooollleeeeee."

"What, darling?"

"Can we go to the animal shelter downtown? Look at all the animals."

Kai showed Cole lots of animals there but mainly the cats. Cole knew Kai loved cats.

"Babe, we can't take any home. You know that, right?"

Cole held Kai's cheek as he spoke. Cole's eyes never left Kai's. Kai nodded before giving a verbal answer.

"I know...but can we still go?"

Cole sighed softly. "Yeah we can go."

The two made their way down to the animal shelter. They had told the others, getting Lloyd to join them. They opened the front door and were asked some questions.

The questions were: What is your name? How many are with you? What are their names? Are you here to adopt or play with the animals? Are any of you sick?

Once all the questions were answered, they were able to head inside. Lloyd went to some of the dogs and birds while Kai seemed to make a B-line for the cats. Cole simply smiled at the man he loved dearly.

Cole ended up playing with some of the cats as well. (Its like a huge room with cats all around) Most of the cats Cole played with came to him and rubbed up against his knee or hand.

Kai saw this a smiled, getting photos and videos of it. Cole saw Kai doing that and that was the end of it. Kai had plenty photos though. About 20 to be exact. And 2 videos.

Hours passed, Lloyd had 10 bird on him, Cole went to play with the dogs, and Kai stayed with the cats. He had found one and grew a particular liking to it. It was a small black cat with a scar over it's left eye. It also had heterochromia. It was a male cat too.

A couple hours had passed since they arrived. Kai didn't want to leave without the little kitten.

Long story short, if you date Cole, you can bribe him easily. Lloyd was also okay with it.

So the brought the cat home. Everyone found the little kitten adorable. Yet the little kitten stayed around Kai the most. Cole as well but Kai was with Cole almost every hour of the day.

They named the little cat Batman.

Batman lived a very happy life with the ninjas. Everyone loved him but nobody loved him more than Kai.
