"We almost kissed." Sarae confessed, dropping onto the bed with her mom.

"You and Ramiere?" Melani asked with a smile, rubbing her 5 month pregnant stomach.

"Yes we was at a park a couple days ago and we was sitting in his car and talking then almost kissed." Sarae explained, laying on Melani's legs.

"Why y'all ain't kiss? What happened?" Melani asked, running her fingers through Sarae's curls.

"He dropped me off home, his sister called and I guess she told him to go home because he had fought that same day." Sarae said.

"Have y'all talked about the almost kiss?" Melani questioned.

"No we just been acting like it never happened." Sarae huffed.

"Well that's dumb." Melani stated, raising an eyebrow.

"I just didn't say anything because he didn't say anything." She defended herself.

"That's the problem now, y'all gotta talk about it eventually." Melani coaxed.

"He probably was gon kiss me because it was in the moment, not because he felt something for me." Sarae doubted shaking her head, coming up with reasons why he would've kissed her.

"You wouldn't know that though because y'all haven't talked about it. Stop assuming the worst." Melani stated truthfully.

"Imma just save myself the embarrassment and shut up." Sarae shrugged.

"You're not gonna embarrass yourself girl, you got feelings for him?" Melani asked.

"I don't know, I don't think so? But I really don't want to because I don't wanna go through no more heartbreak." Sarae vented with a sigh.

"Just talk to him one of these days and see how y'all both feel about eachother, how about that?" Melani suggested.

"I might." Sarae lied.

"Alright then chile, you inviting him to the gender reveal?" Melani switched the topic.

"Can I?" She asked.

"Yeah girl, Ramiere always welcomed over here." Melani waved her off.

"Okay i'll ask if he wants to come over here whenever I see him again." Sarae nodded.

"I'm so hungry and Keem gon piss me off if he don't get up and go get my food." Melani rolled her eyes.

"He downstairs watching tv." Sarae chuckled.

"That's the damn problem he needs to feed us." She huffed.

Sarae talked with her mama for a while longer before going to her room.
