𝐉𝐚𝐜𝐨𝐛𝐢 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐬|𝟏𝟕

"Can you fit it?" Jacobi asked as he helped the little boy try on a shoe.

"Yeah!" The little boy nodded with a wide smile, excited to get his new shoes.

"Thank you for your help today, I appreciate it." The lady smiled and made sure her son could fit the shoe.

"It's no problem." Jacobi shook his head, the lady and her son walked over to the front where Sarae was working the register to pay and Jacobi went back to hanging up clothes and jackets.

It was 2:21 and he still had a hour left of work, but he was so tired and ready to leave.

He wasn't in the best mood at the moment because of the argument he had with Talayah, early in the morning at 6.

The whole argument blew his mood and he didn't want to be bothered with anyone. It was so early in the morning for them to be arguing, he didn't even get to brush his teeth before they started yelling at eachother.

Arguing was all they ever did together now, Jacobi caught himself hating being in her presence when he used to love being under her.

"Excuse me, do y'all have this shoe in a size 6?" He was knocked out of his thoughts when a girl spoke to him.

He turned his head to see a tall darkskin girl standing next to him holding out some dunks in her hand.

"Lemme go check for you." He held his hand out for the shoe. She gave it to him and walked to the back room.

Jacobi walked to the back and looked for her shoe. When he couldn't find her size he just grabbed the shoe and left from the back room and back to the girl who was standing with another group of girls.

"We don't got yo size right now, you wanna look another shoe?" Jacobi asked, grabbing the girls attention.

"Uh I don't know.." She dragged out and looked at the wall of shoes.

"You want something that's blue?" He asked her, the first shoe she chose were some blue dunks.

"It really doesn't matter the color, I just was looking for some cute shoes." She told him.

"These ugly to you?" She grabbed same pink asics and held it up to him. He was confused on why she was asking him.

"Nah they coo, you want them?" He asked as she checked the size of the shoe.

"Yep." She nodded and gave him the shoe when he reached his hand out for them.

After he finished helping everyone who needed his help he went over by Sarae, "Now you wanna come over here and speak. Bye Jacobi." Sarae mugged him as he stood next to her.

"I'm sorry friend, I just miss my grandma." Jacobi dragged out and hugged her.

"You suppose to be my friend and you ignoring me the day we finally work together." She shook her head.
