It happened so fast and so quickly.

Before Sarae could think any further she leaned forward and planted her lips on his, expecting him to kiss her back.

She immediately pulled away from him, her heart dropping. Covering her mouth she stared at him in horror and complete embarrassment.

Ramiere sat there in a shocked state, his shock went away when she hurriedly stood up and grabbed the trash of the food and started walking away.

Ramiere got up and grabbed the canvas but left the blanket and followed after her. She threw away the trash and speed walked to his car, in a hurry to get home.

"Sarae hollon." He called out to her, she continued to ignore him and walked to the car which felt like miles away from her.

"Can you stop walking?" He lightly jogged up to her and grabbed her arm just as she made it to the car door.

"Ramiere just take me home please." She pleaded in a small voice, trying to get out of his hold.

"Not yet, can you look at me though?" He asked. Hoping he didn't miss his chance after 2 while months.

"Unlock the door." She let out a shaky breath, on the verge of crying embarrassed tears.

"Sarae i'm not gon ask you again." He said in a stern tone. He lied, he would ask again and again even if she denied.

"I just wanna go, unlock the door please." She finally looked up at him, meeting his gaze.

"Why you stop?" He asked making her sigh in frustration. She just wanted the night to be over, she hated how she just kissed him and didn't feel him kiss her back.

"Because you didn't fucking kiss me back. I'm embarrassed because I been wanting to kiss you for 2 whole ass months, and when I finally do it you don't do it back. Now I feel like a fuckin' idiot." Shd expressed, shocking him and herself when she cussed him out.

"You ain't even give me a chance to kiss you back. Ian expect it, it wasn't no slow lean in like the movies." He tried to joke but she only looked at him with the straightest face ever.

He wanted to laugh at how she thought he didn't want to kiss her, Ramiere genuinely didn't know she was going for it.

"Okay open the door so you can take me home." She said in a bored tone.

He shook his head at her obliviousness, he thought his feelings for her were very much clear.

He gently grabbed her chin and tilted her head up and pressed his lips to her's. He laughed against her lips when she didn't kiss him back.

"Why you gon do me like that?" He laughed, making her lips tilt upwards a little uncontrollably.

"You don't like being left hanging do you? It ain't a nice feeling is it?" She mumbled against his lips.
