A wave of happiness swept through the Poddar family.
It had been a week since the arrival of a new member in their midst a beautiful baby born to Abhira and Armaan.
Armaan had set aside all his responsibilities to care for his wife and newborn child.
The Poddars celebrated this joyous occasion as if it were a festival, spreading love and generosity to all around them.
The employees of the Poddar firm were given bonuses as a token of gratitude for their hard work and dedication.
Clothes and food were distributed to orphanages and old age homes, spreading smiles far beyond their own household.
Today was the day that Abhira and her precious bundle were finally being discharged from the hospital and coming home.
The entire Poddar house was adorned like a new bride, with flowers blooming in every corner and lights twinkling brightly.
The whole family had meticulously planned their grand welcome, eager to shower their newest member with love and affection.

In the quiet hospital ward,
Armaan entered to find Abhira playing with their baby, a radiant smile lighting up her face despite the exhaustion evident in her eyes.
Armaan : Kya hua neend puri nahi hui?
Abhira : Nahi kal raat bohot der tak roh raha tha, bohot mushkil se soya, upar se yeh medicine ke effects.
she replied wearily.
Armaan : Ghar chalte hai phir rest karna.
Abhira : Tum isse pakdo tab tak main ready ho jaati hu.
she said as she handed the baby over to him and disappeared to get ready.
As Abhira returned after some time, adorned in her grace and beauty, she caught sight of Armaan playing with their little one. The scene before her melted her heart - both father and son looked utterly adorable together. She couldn't resist but took off any evil eyes that may be watching them and captured the moment in a candid photo.
Abhira : Kitna badmash ho gaya hai abhi se apne papa ki tarah, dekho kaise hass raha hai jab mumma kehti hai ek baar hass kar dikhao tab toh janab ko bade nakhre sujhte hai.
Armaan : Mera beta mera fan hai, jealous hone ki zarurat nahi hai.
Abhira : Okay main ek kaam karti hu, tum raho apne bacche ke sath main parnanu ke pass chali jaati hu mujhse keh rahe the ki abhira kuch dino ke liye aana chaho toh aa jaana kaisa hai idea.
Armaan : Abhira main mazak kar raha tha tumne seriously le liya, ab chale sab wait kar rahe hai.
Abhira took the baby from his arms and left for home.
In the car,
He made her sit and tied the seatbelt.
Abhira : dhire chalana please..
He nodded and they drove away.
Armaan : main tumhe bata nahi sakta sab kitne excited hai, kal se lage hue taiyari mein.
Abhira : main bhi na sabko bohot miss kar rahi thi, waha hospital mein padi padi bore ho rahi thi especially jab humara prince soya hua ho, dekho toh isse pura din hasega, khelega lekin raat ko sone ke time pe shuru ho jaata hai loudspeaker inka.
Armaan : maine pregnancy se related books mein padha tha ki baccha hone ke baad sleep deprivation hona hi hai, lekin iska bhi ek alag hi experience hai, irritation nahi hota.
Abhira : yeh baat sahi hai jab yeh soya hua hota hai na toh socti hu bhale roye par jaaga hua rahe.
They laughed.
They reached home.
As they stood on the doorstep, kaveri did their aarti first and then they entered.
Whole house was decorated with balloons, flowers.
They popped party poppers.
Abhira : thank you so much itne acche welcome ke liye.
Vidya : abhira tabiyat theek hai na ab.
Abhira : ji maa ab kaafi better hai.
Vidya : accha aao aarti kar lo, aaj bohot dino baad abhira ki meethi awaaz mein aarti karenge.
She smiled and nodded.
They all did aarti together.
Rohit : bhabhi main le lu champ ko thodi der.
Abhira : haa kyu nahi.
Krish : oh hello aap kal raat bhabhi aur baby ke saath the na toh aapne liya hi hoga ab meri baari.
Charu : nahi pehle main, bhabhi please.
Kiara : bhabhi main...
Aryan : aap logo ke chakkar mein meri baari aati hi nahi, aur sabse chota main hu toh meri baari.
Kiara : waise toh koi tumhe chota bulaye toh tumhe pasand nahi ab kya hua.
Aryan : yeh isme applicable nahi hai.
Madhav : arey ladh kyu rahe ho main kaam aasan kar deta hu main dada hu toh pehle main.
Vidya : aur main dadi hu toh pehle main.
Everyone kept bickering...
Armaan and abhira facepalmed themselves.
Abhira : dekho baby itne saare log sirf aapke liye ladh rahe hai, kehne ko sab itne strict bane ghumte hai aur dekho kaise baccho ki tarah ladh rahe hai sirf aapke liye.
Armaan : haa, abhi toh ek ghanta nahi hua aapko aaye aur yeh haal hai pata nahi aage kya kya hoga.
Abhira : hoga kya humare kunwar sa sabko ungliyon par nachayenge.
