Guilt And Fame... (A DEAD SMG4 AU)

...Nightmare...

It was the middle of the day and Meggy and Tari were just talking to eachother. 3 saw them from afar and decided to walk over and talk to them. Tari noticed 3 approaching and waved hello. "Hello, SMG3! How are you?" Tari says with a warm smile. 3 rolled his eyes and crossed his arms. "I'm doing fine, or whatever." 3 says with a cold and mean look on his face. Meggy went over and pat 3 on the back. "You're just in time!" Meggy says happily. 3 raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?" 3 asked, filled with curiosity. "4 is gonna be here to hang out with us!" 3 rolled his eyes once more. "I'm not gonna be hanging out with you two. Not even that blue eyed loser." 3 scoffed.

"Come on! It'll be fun!" Meggy says with glee. 3 rolls his eyes. "Fine. But I'm not gonna like this..." 3 mutters under his breath. Meggy puts her hands on her hips and sighs. Suddenly, 4 came out of nowhere and waved hello at everyone. "Hey guys!" 4 cheerfully shouts. 3 turns to face 4 and his arms drop to his sides as he realizes something important. 4... 4 is supposed to be dead. 3's starts shaking as his eyes widen. "What's the matter, 3... you look like you've seen a ghost." 4 says, facing 3 with lifeless eyes. 3 takes a step back and shakes his head and closes his eyes. 3 takes a deep breath and reopens his eyes. He sees 4, Meggy, and Tari talking to eeachother. 3 starts to wonder what  the hell even happened. Was killing 4 even a real event that happened?

3 let out a small sigh of relief. Maybe he could do a restart. Restart the mistake he had made. 3 takes a hesitant step toward 4. 4 notices 3 getting closer and grabbed 3's hand, pulling him towards him. "So! What shall us friends do?" 4 says with a smile as he lets go of 3's hand. 3 felt a little disappointed that 4 let go of his hand. He didn't know why though. "Maybe a nice relaxing nature walk while we talk to eachother?" Tari suggested. "Hmmm... I don't mind! 3? What about you?" 4 asks. 3 perks up, not expecting 4 to call on him. "O-oh... I dont mind either, I guess. I don't care anyway." 4 just smiles.

4 points to an entrance of the forest. It looks dark and mysterious. It looks like something straight out of a horror movie. "Let's all go through there." 4 says as he turns to face everyone. Meggy and Tari nod in agreement. 3 is very hesitant. Why would they be walking that direction? And why is Tari not scared? 3 was getting confused but he decided to ignore it. "Alright... are we going?" 3 impatiently says. "Yes. Cmon guys! Let's go!" 4 shouts happily. The four start to head into the dark part of the forest. As they walked, 3 couldn't help but notice that it was day, yet this part of the forest is very dark. 3 once again decided to ignore it.

After 15 minutes of walking, 4 spoke up. "So... 3! How have you been?" 3 flinched. he was so  distracted with his own thoughts that 4's voice startled him. "Uhm... I've been... alright." 3 says. 4 giggled a little. He then stopped walking and faced 3 completely. 3 looked around but didn't see tari or Meggy. "Where did they-" 3 was cut off. "What I meant to say was... how have you been since you killed me?" 4 says, his smile never leaving his face. 3 takes a step back. Was this all a dream...? No... a nightmare. "How... w-why... you..." 3 couldn't find the right words to say. 

4 took a step closer to 3, closing the distance between eachother. 3 was getting scared. He didn't like the feeling of fear. "Y-you... I- I didn't mean... I..." 3 still couldn't find the words to say. 4 kept getting closer and closer until they were face to face. 4 shoved 3 to the ground and laughed. I-I'm s-sorry..." 3 managed to say. "I know." 4 says as he pulled out a gun and aimed it at 3's head. "Wait! I- please-" 3 closed his eyes tightly and shook with fear. The ssound of a gunshot was heard and then 3 woke up.

3 sat up in his bed. He was shaking violently and his palms were sweaty. "O-oh... it was ust a dream... he's still..." 3 wanted to cry. but he pushed back that feeling of guilt and sadness. He layed back in his bed and closed his eyes.

"Wow. He's falling asleep again. What a dumbass." 

3 immediately sat up and his eyes shot wide open. He recognized that voice from anywhere. "SMG4!?" 3 yelled.
