Family Affair

Bria had arrived at the apron of the Atlanta Airport, seeing Zuri playing a game of chess with Bass Rolfton in a hangar. Bass was going to move his rook to capture Zuri's queen, but Bria flipped the table over.

"Hey, I got 20k on this game!" Bria was outraged that Zuri would be hanging out with the Ten Gervaise like they were lifetime partners. "I need the money to buy props to film my big budget Youtube video!"

"You were my cousin." A tear rolled down from Bria's left eye. She was angry and sad at the same time. "You were the only family I had left, and now you reveal yourself as one of Annabelle's attack dogs." Zuri started to laugh.

"Ha, you figured it out now." Her voice sounded half alien/demon, while an electric blue aura surrounded her. "I am Number Two of the Ten Gervaise, and I was all along." She cackled before she began to spill the tea about her dirty secret.

"I started my social media influencer career to become popular with the youth, but as I got caught up in the money and wealth, I came across Annabelle, and she made me a deal." Zuri began to reveal the truth.

"What was the deal?" Bria was frightened about what Zuri would do for fame.

"She offered me the extraordinary ability of the blue flame, and in exchange for it, I have to become a mutant."

"That was your little Faustian Bargain that you achieved, just for internet stardom?" Bria wondered why Bria wanted the ability of fire.

"I wanted the ability of fire to start a second channel dedicated to cooking because using fire powers for cooking totally looks cool."

"Enough of your nonsense!" Bria shrieked. "I will end you right here!" Alex joined in.

"I will take Bass, you take your cousin." Alex went to handle Bass while Bria fought her cousin. Bass took a Tommy gun out of his hat and started firing at Alex. Alex threw his machete to knock Bass's hat off his head. Bass charged and whacked Alex with his Tommy gun, using it as a club. Alex pulled out his gun and disarmed Bass. Bass used his machete to cut the Tommy gun in half.

"You fool, you could have used that against me." Bass wondered why Alex didn't take the easy route.

"Bullets are useless against mutants, the only way to kill a mutant is with a blade, chopping their head off." Bass pulled out a cutlass from his suit pocket.

"If you want a sword fight, you got it!" Alex drew his second machete. Bass swung his sword diagonally, but Alex avoided it by doing a backflip. Alex cut off Bass's hand that held the sword, stealing it. The hand regenerated. Bass pulled out a laser gun and fired it, destroying Alex's first machete.

"Bringing a gun to a sword fight is cheating." It was the irony that was getting Alex, since he was the one who previously brought a gun to a blade fight.

"Say goodbye to your second machete!" Bass fired the heat ray, melting Alex's second machete. He no longer held the machete in one hand and the sword in the other hand, he just had the sword. Alex swung the sword upward, slicing the ray gun in half. He rolled around and sliced Bass's head clean off.

"You'll pay for this!" Bass said his last words before his head began to disintegrate into black sand.

"Oh I'll pay half price." He sliced Bass's body in two before both halves disintegrated into black sand.

Meanwhile, the fight between Bria and Zuri was about to get underway. Bria changed into her Amazon form, but something was happening. Her Amazon form upgraded. Her corrupted Amazon form reached Level 2. She now had a red streak in her hair and wore black leather tights with dark metal armor, and dark metal and red gauntlets. She stomped her black and red leather high heeled boots down while her eyes glowed red.

"I am the Dark Queen of Atlanta!" She said in a half woman half demon/alien voice. Bria had gained the ability to shoot red fire from her hands. She fired red fire bolts at Zuri, but Zuri dodged them. Zuri charged into her, and threw Bria into a Boeing 747 airplane used by Knight Airlines. Bria recovered from being trapped in the metal gash on the gray and purple airplane used by Sarah Knight's airline company. Bria threw a baggage tractor at Zuri, but she sliced it in half. Zuri threw a tow tractor at Bria. She was hit and flew into a conveyor belt truck. She used the truck as a ramp to propel herself in the air. She shot a red fire beam at Zuri. Zuri fell from midair to the ground. Bria went to finish Zuri off, but was interrupted by Arthur Barclay. He slowly clapped his hands.

"Bravo." Arthur put his hand on Zuri's shoulder.

"That's enough, Zuri." He grabbed Zuri by the neck, holding her in the air. Zuri was choking. He snapped Zuri's neck, killing her.

"ZURI!" Bria came to check on Zuri. Before Zuri could disintegrate, she pulled out her phone to do one last video.

"To my followers and fans, it has been a long ride. But all good things must come to an end. So I am bidding you farewell. Do not like this video, do not hit the notification bell, and don't even think about subscribing, because there will be no more videos. Stay gold, everyone." Her entire body turned to black sand, causing her to drop the phone. Bria caught it and cut the camera. She then posted the thing to both Instagram and Youtube, then took Zuri's phone as a memory of her late cousin. Arthur took off his orange military jacket, revealing a white tank top that he had under the jacket. Wearing only a white tank top and orange military pants, he took off his eyepatch, revealing a swollen eye with a red crosshair symbol as the pupil.

"What is that?" Bria was scared of Arthur's disturbing eye he had under his eyepatch.

"It's my mutant ability, Deadeye." Arthur explained. "I can never miss my target." Arthur began to confess his secret he was hiding from Bria all this time. "Before I formed the Tiger Lady Corps, I found Annabelle, and she granted me the Deadeye ability so I could use it to lead them to reestablish the US as a major superpower. I could rebuild the destroyed cities and expand America's borders further to the Pacific, and further to the Atlantic. The only problem is me having the votes for it."

"That was your evil plan?" Bria was disappointed that Arthur conned him. "You planned to use me as a pawn for imperial expansion?"

"Exactly." Arthur confessed. "I founded the Tiger Lady Corps so I could use them for imperial conquest of the Pacific and the Atlantic."

"You just wanted to use me for American expansion? Bullshit!" She charged at Arthur, trying to behead him. Arthur pulled out two Desert Eagles from his holsters and fired at Bria, knocking her down. Bria ran away, doing a high jump on a Delta plane, and on the roof of the airport. She landed in the parking lot and called a Lyft.

"Where is that Lyft when you need it?" The Lyft showed up, and the driver was none other than Jhamar.

"You called?" Jhamar asked. He honked the horn twice.

"Yea." Bria got in. "Take me to Sandy Springs." Jhamar had the horn modified to a Cuaracha horn since Bria's last trip. "Hold on tight, because this is gonna be a bumpy ride!" Jhamar hit the gas and began Bria's trip home to Sandy Springs.
