I had made it on the train and along my ride I found out Tokoyami and me were going to the same place.

"I expected you to do something more fighting style if I'm gonna be honest. With how you fought in the festival and all." Tokoyami said.

"Yeah but I just don't think I'm in my full element with just fighting. And with this agency I wanted to see if I could manage both." I said

He nodded.

The first day was a breeze. The second day was alittle more work. Later that night I had gotten a call from Aizawa.

"Hey Dad." I said smiling to myself.

"Hello Ianna. I called to check up on you. See how you were holding up." He said.

"I'm doing good. Enjoying my time here." I said

"That's good. I received a letter this morning. It was from your mother." He said.

"Did you read it? What did she say." I asked.

"I don't want to put too much on your mind. I'll talk to you about it once you get back." He said

I groaned in frustration.

"There's no need to get angry. You'll return home soon." He said scolding me.

"Sorry." I mumbled still alittle mad.

After all this time of my mother ghosting me she finally decided to reach out. I rolled my eyes in annoyance. While living with her I had loved her as a mother, however these past few months I had grown a hatred to her. Her new husband, Matthew, didn't like me from the start. He tried to get alone time with her and even told me that I was just too much of a problem. He was the one who convinced my mother to send me away, back to Japan. However I never expected my mother to just ditch me like that. To completely ghost her only child.

The whole situation frustrated me. The following days I tried not to think about what the letter could possibly say, I struggled with that.
