Twenty Eight

I was stood next to my Dad mindlessly on my phone when I heard Miss Joke.

"Erasure! Since we've reconnected how bout we get together for joint training sometime." She said

"Yeah. That could be smart." Aizawa said.

"Oh and Ianna, You did awesome out there." Miss Joke said

I was shocked but smiled and thanked her. She nodded before heading over to her class. Maybe she wasn't so bad.

I nudged Dad and smirked whole pointing at the two bakc and forth.

"Stop that." He said

I smiled. However I could see the corner of his mouth twitch upward.

Later that day as we were all walking back in Bakugo came up to me.

"Cancel going to my room. I have business to take care of." He said before walking off.

I was so confused at that point.What was he going to talk about.Why had he canceled?

It was late at night and everyone else was asleep. I had stayed up pretty late drawing and had gotten hungry. I made my way to the kitchen and began making me some sugar toast. Just as I had put the pan in the oven, I looked out the window. Outside I saw Bakugo and Midoriya walking away from the building and other dorms.

Weird.

As much as I wanted to follow my first instinct which was to just stay inside and eat my food, my curiosity got the better of me. I turned the oven off and stuck the pan on the stovetop. I grabbed a pair of slippers and hurried out the door but made sure to be quiet. It was a very chilly night. I should've brought my cardigan. The clothes I was wearing weren't covering much skin.

I followed them all the way to ground beta where combat training was held. From what I could hear, which wasn't much they were talking about Midoriyas quirk,All Might, and All For One.

Was their conversation why he cancelled our talk?

I continued to listen and Bakugo was doing most of the talking. I was shocked to hear Bakugo accusing All Might of giving Midoriya his quirk. I hadn't know either of them before UA so I didn't know the full story. However with the evidence Bakugo had given it had made since from what I knew.

The final part of the conversation I heard was form Bakugo.

"We're settling this. Right here. Right now." Bakugo said

My eyes widened in shock. Bakugo was trying to fight Midoriya. I watched closely though. Maybe they weren't going to after all.

Bakugo however pounced to Midoriya. That's when I heard a robotic voice. Across my alley was a robot. Of course UA would have security! I saw its lense zoom in on me then the massacre that had just begun. Dad was going to show up soon. He wouldn't want me to intervene however the robot had already spotted me. I could turn back but it would be useless. I watched closely. As Bakugo was on his knees I could hear his voice cracking.

Was he crying?

He was talking about how he had blamed himself for All Might losing his quirk. However it wasn't his fault. I knew it wasn't his fault. Some people grow weak over time it came with age.

They began fighting again. It looked bad. What could I do? I didn't want either one of them to get hurt. They were yelling, punching, dodging. I was getting overwhelmed. Dad needed to hurry.

They were still going. Why were they still going. None of this was worth it. Midoriya punched Bakugo instead of kicking him. Bakugo shot an explosion which landed them on the ground breathing hard. There was smoke surrounding me. It reached my lungs and I held in a cough.

"Stop this right now. Both of you."

All Might walked over. Where was Dad? I listened in. All might admitted to giving Midoriya his quirk. Had he known I was there?

I walked back farther in the shadows when I bumped into something. I quickly turned around and saw Aizawa.

"Do not think you're off the hook. I will talk with you later. I am disappointed, however we are heading back to the dorms." He said.

I frowned.

I disappointed him again. Great.

He wrapped his scarf around me and held me close to him as we swung out of the grounds. Minutes later we arrived and he sat me down. He didn't say anything. However when Deku and Bakugo arrived all of us were sat down. They didn't know why I was there though. They hadn't seen me.

I watched as he tightened his scarf around them. He was really irritated, eye twitching irritated. I couldn't wait for the lecture he was going to give me. He gave Bakugo and Midoriya house arrest, demanded that they to clean the dormitory and demanded a hand written apology. All Might left shortly after they had.

"What were you thinking following them? Did you know they were going to fight? And do not give me any attitude." He said.

"No I didn't. I was just curious as to why they were out so late. I didn't think all of that would happen." I said.

"You were ignorant to have followed them. You were ignorant to not call me when you saw them leaving. I doubt they know you were there however I am going to give you a punishment. You'll train with me, and do hero work with me sing you have your license. You will do it until I not only see a difference in your actions but also your attitude. Your mother told me what happened in America. She was struggling with substance abuse at the time. She sent you away to better herself. She knew it was going to be tough and that you were hurting as well. Shes been committed to stay clean. Although you have made a life here do not think I will not send you back if you keep acting out." He laid into me.

Tears were already streaming down my cheeks. I didn't want to go back to America.

"However you are my daughter. I know you better than anyone. You mean well. What I'm saying may hurt your feelings, you may hate me for a while. But understand I am doing this for you because I love you, Ianna." He said kneeling down infront of me.

I looked at him and he had an endearing look on his face.

"I don't hate you." I said wiping my tears.

It was silent for a moment before I stood up and hugged him. He hugged back.
