Caroline's POV

I was walking into the Grill, and I spotted Ansel right away.

"Sorry. Am I late?" I asked him when I was seating in the table.

"It's okay. I just got here." He told me, after a moment of silence he asked "Do you have any ideas of how I could be in Klaus life?"

"Actually I do. From now on, you will be my trainer or my couch."

"What?" He asked confused.

"If you teach me to fight and stuff like that, like you did today, you will have an excuse to pass more time in the Salvatore's boarding house, which mean you will have more time to be with Klaus..." I said smiling.

"How do you know that he would stay?" He asked me without hope.

"Because I ask him to stay here for a few weeks. I told him that I missed having him around... and he agreed to stay here for a while."

"I'm sorry, for asking this, but do you really miss him or it was just part of the plan?"

"I really miss him. Lately I fell lonely, I stopped smiling like I used to, I start to be cold to new people and I just want to be back at myself. And the person that keeps remind me of who I truly am is Niklaus Mikaelson." I said than I added "Can we keep this just between us?"

"Yes. Actually I'm happy that my son does that to you, I always knew what you made him feel and what you did to him, you bring his humanity when you're with him. I saw that in the Other Side. I remember he thinking that he had an oak white-steak in his back and you guys needed to fight so he could stop feeling the pain."

"I guess... Well, I need to go. See you tomorrow at 10 am for the training, deal?"

"Deal." He said smiling.

I went to Salvatore's house, and the only ones still up were Stefan and Klaus.

"Hey guys"

"Hi" Stefan said

"Hello love" said Klaus and added "Do you want to join us?"

"Okay. But I think better not drink this time..." I said and they laughed.

"I need to know. Why went you to the Grill to meet Ansel?"

"I already told you, because he is my trainer, and we needed to find an hour that we both liked... By the way, why are you suddenly so interested?" I asked

"With the exception that he is your father, of course..." Stefan said smiling.

"I already heard Stefan, please not you too Caroline."

"What?" I asked faking being confused.

"You know what, that all speech about he being your father, and you have a chance to be with your biological father, and family is power and blah blah blah..."

"Klaus, do you realize that you have a father who likes you? do you have the notion that his first thought after he came from the Other Side is being with you, in your life. He saw for thousands of years the worst and best of you. Now he is here, back from the Other Side and excuse us for giving you a lecture how family is the most important thing that we have. We do that because not all of us get a second chance to be with somebody from our family that died, you have that chance and you're ruining it just because you decided to be stubborn and don't let Ansel in. If my father was back from the dead I would try to be with him as much as I could, and we are talking about a man who tortured me. So, I'm sorry about our speeches. I think I better go to my room." I said fighting the tears that wanted to get out.

Klaus's POV

I didn't really listen Stefan, Rebekah Kol or Elijah, but when I heard Caroline and saw in her eyes so much sadness and hurt I finally understood what they were trying to say to me, but they did it with riddles, Caroline wasn't afraid of saying to me everything that she thought I did it wrong, it was one of the things that I liked about her. I decided to go to her room before left.

Knock Knock

"Who is it?" Caroline asked.

"It's Klaus" I said hoping that she would open the door.

"What do you want?"

"To talk to you" I said and after a moment of silence I add "Just for 2 minutes"

"Fine, came in." She said.

I open the door and saw tear in her face then when I seat in the bed next to her I wiped her tears from her face and let my hand rest in her check.

"I'm sorry for being so stubborn" I said and she gave me a weak smile.

"I'm sorry the way I talk to you." She said and I smiled to her.

"It's okay. In fact I should thank you to open my eyes." I said and we stand in a moment of silence, a good silence and then I said "I better go, it's getting late." With that I get up and walk to the door until Caroline call me

"Yes" I say turning to her.

"Will you stay in Mystic Falls for a while, even after..."

"I will stay." He said cutting me off

"Thank you"

With that I went to Caroline's old house, I knew that was where Ansel was living.

Ansel's POV

I was reading a book, but I didn't really was paying much attention, I just keep thinking 'Is this plan really going to work?' but my thoughts were interrupted by someone knocking at the door.

"Coming" I said, then I open the door and see my son, Niklaus Mikaelson, I couldn't believe it.

"Hey Ansel. May I came in?" He asked me.

"Of course, make yourself at home."

"Thank you." He said than he added "You probably want to know the reason why I am here."

"Yes" I said

"The reason is Caroline."

"Is she okay?" Now I was concern, at first she was just some girl that could help me winning Klaus's trust, but now she's like a friend.

"Yes. Today she made me realize how stupid and selfish I was by being stubborn... I would like to know you better, Caroline believes that I have another chance and I am ruining by being stubborn and I am start to agreeing with her. Can you give me one more chance to make our relationship work? I want to have a chance to know you, dad. Will you give me that chance?" He asked with tears in his eyes.

"Of course." I couldn't believe it, it seemed like I was dreaming.

We talked a little bit, but after a while heneeded to go home. When he get out I called Caroline and tell her everything,she seemed really happy. Even that I am in my son's life, I am still Caroline'strainer, I really like her and she makes my son happy. I just hope they willget together...
