Chapter fifty-five
"I was wondering—" Stiles gets cut off by Scott barging into his room
"KNOCK?!" Stiles exclaims as i quickly throw a t-shirt over me
"You're fucking kidding" Scott scoffs
"It's polite to knock you know?" I add
"I don't care about knocking Siren!" Scott yells
"What's wrong with you?"
"You" He spits at me harshly
"What the hell did i do?!"
"You left for weeks! Then you just come back and act like everything is fine with Stiles? He was heartbroken when you left Siren"
"I had to, i did it to protect him!"
"Yeah and how'd that work out huh?"
"He's here in one piece isn't he?" I point to Stiles
"You're fucking hilarious Siren" Scott laughs
"I mean what the hell do you care about Stiles? Ive known him my whole life and i won't let anyone hurt him, so Siren tell me was almost killing Stiles caring for him?" Scott asks
"No, dying for him was, turning into a Castra for him, i risked everything when i told my father 'me' he made me choose, so i did, i picked myself, and i would do it again, over and over because i love him, i risk my life almost every day for him, so if you think thats not caring for Stiles then i dont know what is"
"And hell even though me and you don't really get along, i still fucking saved your ass"
"You know the way i went a-wall today? And Stiles just went missing? I was the one who brought him back, he's standing here in front of you because of me, and i could've easily gave up you to that alpha, but i chose not to Scott"
"I have only ever wanted to save everybody, yea i might have said that some that indicated i didn't want to, but i do Scott"
"So don't start fucking throwing that shit in my face" I push past him
"Siren wait—" Stiles says
"Stiles, i love you, you know that, but he doesn't understand that" I glance at Scott
"Where is she? Do not fuck with me right now, where is Siren, if anything has happened to her, i will rain hell on all of you!" Dereks voice echoes through the house as he storms upstairs
He stops in his tracks as soon as our eyes meet
"Val...." He mutters before rushing forward and pulling me into a hug
"Peter told me what happened, then he told me how he helped save your ass" I pull away
"I could've saved myself" I shrug with a chuckle, then the room goes dead silent
We just stand awkwardly before a knock on the door finally breaks the silence
"I'll get it!" I jump at the opportunity to run downstairs, i open the door but no one is there, except for a box
"Who is it?" Stiles asks as the three meet me at the door
"No one, just a box, with my name signed on it" My eyebrows furrow
