Chapter forty-seven
"I'll be back in a minute, okay?" I say to Stiles as i jump of my motorcycle and take off my helmet
"Yeah, i'll wait here" He replies
"Okay" I nod before walking up to the house and knocking the door
"Who is it?!" A man stumbles as he opens the door, clearly drunk, music is blasting in the house
"I'm a friend of Parker's, is he here?" I ask
"PARKER THERES SOMEONE HERE FOR YOU!" He shouts going back into the house, i stay outside
"Come in sweetheart, i don't bite"
I nod nervously before stepping into the house
"He should be down in a minute, can i get you anything, a water? A beer?" He slurs on his words
"No i'm okay"
"Ok then" He shrugs before sitting down on a couch, along with two other older men
"Who's this pretty lady?" One of them rambles
"She's a friend of Parker's or something" The man who answered the door replies before taking out a bag with a white powder in it
Fucking hell
I watch as he puts some on a mirror and puts it into a straight line with a card before snorting it
I take my eyes from the three men over to the stairs, waiting patiently for Parker
"You can go on up" The man turns to me
I nod before quickly going upstairs
"Parker?" I say opening a door, i spot him sleeping on a mattress
I go over and kneel down before shaking him
"Wake up"
"Hmm?" He stirs awake
"Get up it's almost three" I say
"What?" He questions sitting up
"Siren? What are you doing here?" He finally notices
"I'm here to apologise, but first of all, who the hell is downstairs?" I ask
"My dad and his friends"
"Well i'm sorry, but your dad, shouldn't be allowed custody of you, he's taking drugs down there, in the same house as his kid"
"I know, he's an addict" Parker shrugs
"How can you even be comfortable in a house with that? Even the music is so loud, how can you sleep?"
"I'm just used to it, i guess"
"Parker that's not normal, and you're also sleeping on a mattress, is this what it's always been like?" I ask
