I am stuck
I shouldn't have lingered here
My heart overflows
With memories cascading
I wouldn't concede
Even if tempted
I am bound by our memories
I fear I'll forever
Waltz with this ache
Each attempt to flee my thoughts
I wept
Traced the scars
Longing for your love
I am stuck
Haunted by the thought
That no one
Will rescue me
I fear I'll forever dance
With this pain
Each time I try to escape my mind.
