"They wanna leave me alone. For six months. Damn fools. All of them." Meggy typed some code into the computer again and hit play. "They wanna leave me alone. With all this technology. Absolute fools." She giggled uncontrollably as she waited for the sound of her creation being made. A small ding was heard and Meggy turned around, noticing the small creature that stood before her. The creature shook its head, then looked up at Meggy and smiled. "Me! Big!" The creature said, instantly taking a liking to its owner. Meggy was thrilled. "Yes! Finally! It worked! My very own Leggy!" She kneeled down to pick up the small version of her and place it on her shoulder. She had been trying to make a Leggy since she was locked in the factory. When I go find Mr.Puzzles, he's most likely going to be a little hostile towards me, she had thought while creating her first attempt. But if I bring a little Leggy , he might be more open to the idea of me talking to him. And so, the trial of Leggys began. Her first few attempts were, suffice it to say, gross. It had taken her the length of her solitude to finally perfect her skills, and she was proud of getting it right. Take that, Four, She thought to herself as she and Leggy got in the elevator and headed to the top floor. "Puzzles gone?" Leggy asked when they got to the top. Meggy had not only created a Leggy, she had transferred some of her memories into it as well. "Yeah, he's gone. But don't worry, we're gonna go find him." She walked into the room, the Comedy Zone, then turned to Leggy. "Alright, little me," she said, looking around for an electric box or something that would disable those doors, "See anyway out of here?" Leggy looked around and replied, "Up." Meggy turned her head up and immediately took notice of the railing and the terribly patched up hole in the roof. "Up." Leggy said again, seemingly proud for finding the way out, and Meggy mentally kicked herself for not seeing it sooner. She patted Leggys head affectionately, then set her sights on that hole. The two gingers climbed up to the railing so they could be closer to the hole in the roof. Then, she picked up Leggy and threw her as high as she could. Leggy, seemingly knowing what the plan was, kicked the boards patching up the hole and landed on top of the factory. She looked down and tilted her head, wondering how her friend was going to get up. Meggy looked around for something that could give her a boost, but nothing around her was helpful. "Meggy! Mic cord! Rope!" Leggy yelled from the top, an idea forming in her mind. Meggy went back down to the floor, grabbed a microphone from one of the boxes, climbed back up to the railing, and threw it to Leggy. Leggy grabbed the mic and looked around for something to tie it to. She noticed a ventilation box and ran over to tie it there. Once she secured the makeshift rope, she called out for Meggy to climb. Meggy jumped from the railing and grabbed the rope, beginning to climb it. The higher she climbed, the happier she felt. Finally, she made it to the top, feeling the warmth of the sun for the first time in a while. Six months, to be exact, she thought to herself as she basked in the fresh air and warm weather. Leggy growled, and Meggy instantly ducked, thinking someone was there. "Are-a you sure leaving Meggy was a good-a idea?" Meggy snake crawled towards the voice, making sure to keep her head down. "Honestly? No...I'm not. But we can't risk putting the showgrounds in danger, Mario." "I guess, but it-a still feels wrong to Mario. What if Meggy-a hates us?" "I'm sure that won't happen. Besides, Meggy knows that Mr.Puzzles being here would put all of us in danger. Thats why I'm doing this." Wrong, asshole. You're doing this because you're scared Puzzles is gonna take your fame away. She watched as the duo walked away, then took Leggy to the other side of the building. There, they used the makeshift rope again to slide down to the floor. Leggy pulled on her pant cuff, then gestured towards Meggy's car. "Sweet, it's still here. C'mon, Leggy," Meggy whispered to her 2 foot tall minion. They sneaked their way towards her car, careful not to be spotted by anyone who might be walking around. As they finally got in the car-Meggy in the driver's seat and Leggy in the back-she looked towards the tent and factory, feeling the sudden urge to burn it to the ground. She shook off that thought, and focused on the more important matters. She put the car in neutral, and pushed it until she was out of earshot, then started the car and drove off, leaving her prison and all her traitorous "friends" behind.
"Get ready Leggy. We've got a long trip ahead of us." She told her companion as she checked her phone for the coordinates Tari sent her. The one good thing she did before she ratted me out, Meggy thought bitterly. She turned on the radio and tried to clear her head. "Find Puzzles?" Leggy asked from the backseat, apparently making herself a bed out of the pillowcases Meggy had packed. "Yeah, Leggy. We're gonna find Puzzles, and then we're gonna go back to the tent and show those good for nothing traitors they messed with the wrong inkling/human." Leggy, who was already asleep, had stopped listening after the "find puzzles" part. But even if she was awake, she wouldn't have noticed the malice in Meggy's voice as she said that last sentence. She grinned, feeling the anger that she'd shoved away for the past six months resurface, leaving her seeing red. Get ready, Smg4, She thought to herself.
First I find Mr.Puzzles, then I'm getting you back. And you're gonna regret locking me away.I five-star guarantee it.
