That next morning I was eager to go on our second date. I got up and put on my normal outfit and my tophat. I then went downstairs and made breakfast then Webby came downstairs.
"You're making breakfast?" She asked.
"Yep, I'm making it extra special." I said holding the waffles in my hand "Blueberry is her favorite."
"Oh Sophie," she said nudging me
I blushed and put the waffles on the table.
Later I saw Huey Dewey and Louie come down with Sophie.
She kissed me on the cheek and sat down next to me. Seeing her smile was like a dream come true. The love of life was back and now we will live the rest of our days together.
After breakfast, I took her out to walk in Duckberg. She asked me tons of questions mostly about everything. I didn't realize how much things had changed since the last time I saw her. When she realized what a phone was she wanted one immediately. I loved how things never changed between us. It was always Sophie and me against the world.
"Scrooooge I need a phone," she whined
"You sound like you're fifteen," I said teasing her
"Well need one.""Maybe after we have lunch," I said holding up a picnic basket
"Awww just like our first date scroogy."
We walked holding hands to the park which was more crowded than I thought it would be so we just walked to the back of it and sat in front of a tree for shade
After we ate we laid down next to each other just like on our first date. I looked at her and she took my top hat off and kissed me passionately on the lips "I'm so happy I'm back with you pretty boy."
"Me too love," I said playing with her hair
"I'll never let anyone hurt you ever again..."
