Chapter 10

Right after we figured out a plan Alex, Olivia, Sophie, and I started packing for our trip. Sophie had taken off her sweatshirt and wrapped it around her waist which she had a black tank top underneath. Olivia took off her dress and put on a pair of running shorts and a plain teal t-shirt Alex just put on a graphic t-shirt and I just put on my safari hat and outfit then we were ready to leave.

Sophie came out with a green baseball cap with her hair in a high pony that matched her sweatshirt.

"Where did you get that?" I asked

"Alex had it and gave it to me because it was the same color as my sweatshirt my god it's so comfy so I said I was gonna keep it."

I laughed and kissed my Fiance on the head and then looked into her bright emerald eyes

"Sophie please tell me if this is gonna be too much," I said

"Scroogy I'll be fine." She said

"Sophie I know you can't take things well I just don't want you to.."

"Too what Scrooge!?" She said aggravated "I spent over a hundred and fifty years in the worst realm in the universe do you think I let my guard down once? NO! I took it over and became the queen because I had one goal trust me I'll be fine." She stormed out of the room as Alex came in.

"What's with her?" He asked me.

"I wanted her to express her feelings."

"Oh..." He looked back "She went through a lot y'know."

"I know that I just got screamed at but I just want her to tell me what's going through her head...She's traumatized and needs to talk to someone and since this thing with Crystal... I couldn't even imagine."

"I know I couldn't either but maybe give her some space and maybe one day she'll talk about it..."

"Yeah, your right... Thanks."

"No problem."

At that exact moment, Olivia came in without her glasses "Kara was nervous about looking after the library for the first time I had to give her a pep talk but I'm ready Kyle said he should be here soon."

I looked back at Alex and had love in his eyes "Wow Liv you look.."

"I just thought I shouldn't wear my glasses because they might fall off so I borrowed Kyle's contacts.."

He then went over and kissed his wife man is this what me and Sophie looked like I mean they look so happy but man I feel like a third wheel and kind of disgusted.

After their little make-out session, Alex used his teleportation to teleport us to Dexter Beach house we all went into the portal and ended up at a really nice beach it was warm and the beach house was beautiful. I was expecting it to be not this nice.

"Ummm Pretty boy you should definitely get a beach house over here this is gorgeous."

"I would but if there's still sirens here absolutely not," I said.

All of us followed Olvia with the address in her hand.

"Here." She said and this beach house was the prettiest definitely.

"I might have changed my mind love, about this place maybe we won't go near the beach," I said and she smirked.

"Should we split up?" Alex asked

"I don't think that's a good idea we should stay together," I said "Does he still own this Olivia?"

"Yes he still owns it apparently wants to wait until Crystal comes back."

"I mean I would do that too if you had special memories there," Alex said hugging his wife.

We all walked in and saw things that looked like they hadn't been touched in a long time.

"We should really split upAlex and Olivia will take the downstairs Scrooge and I will take the upstairs," Sophie said

We all agreed and me and Sophie went up the stairs and went to the bedroom first looking for everything.

"I'm sorry about earlier love I really worry about you..."

"Pretty boy please you're fine I overreacted earlier I should be the one to say sorry."

I held her hands and looked into her eyes "Sophie when you're ready you can tell me and I can't just pry sensitive stuff out of you I'm sorry."

"It's okay but we really need to get back to finding stuff in here..." She was looking through the dresser and found a hidden compartment and there was a book

"Sirens and what you need to know." she looked up at me terrified

"Maybe she wanted to become a siren."

"Or worse," I said

"Maybe she brought one here."
